Rottun, thanks for the response and I am glad things worked out for you. My wife is 4 months pregnant with a baby boy. I was not taking Propecia at the time my wife conceived the baby. I just want to know why Dr. Dorin is the only telling me that I should use condoms while my wife is pregnant?

I have been using Propecia on and off the last couple of years. I meet with Dr. Dorin and he convinced me to get back on Propecia and stay on it. Dr. Dorin also told me that I should use a condom while my wife is pregnant. My wife's gynecologist doctor told us that uses Propecia shouldn't be a problem. So I'm going to start using Propecia is it absolutely necessary for me to use a condom while my wife is pregnant?? Are there real risks with using Propecia during pregnancy? And what if your better half got pregnant while you where taking Propecia?? Has there been any cases of a baby being born with a problem because of Propecia?

Hey Where-Is-Baldo, do yourself a favor and shave your head first before you get an HT procedure to see if you like it. I am 30 years NW 3 and wish I could shave my head but can't because of 2 old HT scars on the back of my head. So now I can only use a 2# guard to cut my hair.

Hey Endoftherope, My situation is very frustrating. I got my first HT done when I was 21 years old in 1997. I went to the Connecticut Hair and Transplant group and got 300 grafts front hairline small scar. In 2004 I received 1700 grafts from same doctor 1200 front 500 back of head long scar ear to ear. Know I have 2 separate scars one above the other. I use to be able to buzz hair with a 1# guard but after 2nd HT I buzz hair with 2# guard, ear to ear scar is still visible. So now I am 30 years old NW 3, 2 separate scars on the back of my head and my fontal hairline is very thin I have to brush hair forward like a MONK and I can't shave my head because of HT scars. This site is very helpful with the best doctors out there that are more advanced with the new T-Closure, so do your research because I didn't. Hey Bill, why didn't you go to Dr. True for your 3rd HT?

When the HELL is someone going to finally find the cure for hair loss??? I mean if someone ever did they would become a Billionaire! I know some scientists and doctors are working on Hair Multiplication & Hair Cloning but there is no real drug and I don't think it will happen for another 25 years. We should come up with a foundation for baldness to raise money for a cure lol. I have tried everything propecia, lasercomb, avacor, and 2 HT with results that suck. I know of course there are far more worst things they need to find cures for like cancer and diseases but for hair loss it would be nice.

Hey guys thanks fo the responses. Bill that looks like excellent work by Dr. True. If you read what I said up top about my situation I want to remove my 2 old scars with the T-Closer how is this possible without messing around with the skin on the back of your scalp? What is laxity? My 2 scars are about 1/2 to 5/8 inches away from each other. Bill can I ask how much it cost to get 2200 fut from Dr. True? The scar from Dr. True looks real long past your ears to the side of your head is it visible? I see your pics and at about 14 months it looks like you are buzzing sides with a 1# guard?

I am interested in getting a BHT. I have read that Dr. True and Dr. Dorin have done BHT so I need to make an appointment with them.

Thanks for the response Mrjb. I have looked at some of your other posts in the past. When Dr. True performed the T closure on you did it remove your old HT scars? How does it look? I also saw that Dr. True and Dorin have also performed BHT.

I am ready to go meet with Dr. True and Dorin. I am 30 years old norwood 3. I have had 2 other HT with 2 strip scars by a below average mediocre doctor in Connecticut. What I a looking for is either BHT from hopefully my leg to be placed into old scars and scalp or the trychophytic donor closure to remove old scars with a very undetectable scar. I like to keep my hair short on the sides of my head with a 2# guard. But with a 2# guard the scars are still visible. I use to be able to cut my hair before 2nd HT with a #1 guard but not anymore 2nd scar is ear to ear. Can anyone tell me if they had any experiences with BHT or trychophytic donor closure with Dr. True and Dorin or maybe Dr. Berntein in NYC?

Thanks for the response guys. I'm not sure if I want to get another HT done but I do want to get repair work on my 2 HT strip scars. If I do get anther HT who is the best in the CT, NYC area that does trichophytic closure method? I looked up doctors in NYC on the HAIR LOSS LEARNIG CENTER and came up with Dr. Bernstein, Dr. Dorin, Dr. True and Dr. Epstein. I was thinking about Dr. Feller but why is he not on the LEARNING CENTER list anymore? You guys say I should get 3000 to 4000 grafts more. How much is that going to set me back? At this point I don't know if I'm going to get another HT after the bad experience with a below average doctor and the costs. So my 2 options are, repair work on scars then shave my head or repair work on scars and 3rd HT.

Aida, thank you for the info on the Laser Brush. I have never heard of it intel I saw your post. At the Medical Hair Institute you work for, do you see great results from the laser brush? How are you so sure that it's about 6 times stronger than the laser comb? Does anyone else use the LASER BRUSH?

I have been using Propecia for the last 2 years. I think it may of slowed down my hair loss but it hasn't completely stopped it. Is Propecia the best product out there or is there something better?? I also have been using the HairMaxx Laser comb for 3 years. I can say it looks thicker only after I use it but I don't think it's really stopping my hair loss.
