I was just wondering if anyone knows about Procede and Scalp Med. Are these just 2 more bogus products that lie about re growing hair?

About 2 years after my first HT I was able to buzz cut it with a 1#. Before my second HT the HT consultant told me that I would be able to cut my hair with 1 1/2#. I don't like letting my hair grow thick on the sides.

Thanks for the input guys. Mrjd I never heard of a FUT surgeries. Your telling me they can get rid of old scares by re-sewing a new one? Who does this? I really don't like the idea of having scalpel come anywhere near my head after having 2 scars. Paris I have heard about Dr. Feller and will contact him soon thanks. The B Spot I used to be able to get away with shaving hair down with 1# after first surgery small scar lower one. After this last HT 12/04 the scar is ear to ear and now I cut with 2# and you can still see a little bit. I don't know about getting another HT to damn expensive. I never want to get another strip HT proceder. The place I went to for both HT was Connecticut Hair & Transplant Group, Dr. Goldstein.

Can a FUE procedure cover up old strip scars?? How about laser scar removal does that work on strip scars? How much would it be just to cover up donor area with FUE procedure? I live in Connecticut were should I go? I had a 2nd HT back in 12/2004, I wish I never did it. I cut my hair with 2 guard and still can see scars. I'm done with spending thousands of dollars trying to stop the inevitable of hair loss. I am a Norwood 3 I just want to buzz my hair done with a 1# guard. Tell me I don't have to live the rest of my life with 2 strip scars 1 ear to ear and I can't do anything about fading the scars out..

Thanks Mahair and Smoothy, SMOOTHY what if I just want to cover up the scars with some type of procedure without another HT? So I can buzz my hair again with a 1. How much would it cost just to cover up scar strips only? It's just that I'm tired of spending thousands of dollars trying to keep my hair from falling out and the 2 failed HT's. I'm going to be 30 years old and I fell like my life is been on hold always thinking about my hair loss, always wearing baseball hats, always trying to cover up bald areas that are just getting bigger and bigger. I just want to shave my head with a number 1.. MAHAIR I fell really mad and frustrated 8 months later after the HT. I fell like I need a lawsuit against this company for giving me to separate scar strips when I thought the 2nd HT strip (ear to ear) was suppose to be part of the old strip. I gave it a chance to see if the results would have made ok but it didn't. This consultant of course made it sound like the 2nd HT was going to be great, he showed me before and after pictures of other supposable patients they had which came out great. I was freaking out because all I wanted was for me to look great at my wedding so I rushed into this HT, I still had enough hair to use dermatch to cover up the bald spots for the wedding. I wish I never did it because of the bigger scar. On the day of the surgery there were 2 other guys that had HT's done. I use Propecia and the Laser comb for about a year but my hair still falls out it doesn't matter, I give up and just want to shave my head with a number 1 but can't now because of the second scar ear to ear. 1. Is there any place I can go to that can some how cover up the scars so I can shave my head and say the hell with it??? Like maybe laser therapy or some other type of surgery???

I have the Hairmax Lasercomb which used for about 9 months. When I use the Lasercomb I see my hair become thicker after use. I used Propecia for about 6 months before I used Lasercomb and didn't really see my hair loss stop. Should I keep using the Lasercomb and go back on Propecia at the same time? Or is the Lasercomb not necessary and just use Propecia?

Hey Smoothy and Brando Thanks for replying, After doing research and looking back when I had my first HT 7 years ago when was 21 years old, 200 grafts in the front hairline really doesn't sound like much to cover the are. Do you think I should still see results from that? When I look really close I can see the Ht hairs but spread out, not enough coverage. Can you suggest a HT doctor in Connecticut or NYC for me? I have lost a lot of confidence and at times have been depressed about losing my hair since I try to keep up with my looks working out at the gym, etc. I had a HT done at 21 years old with 200 grafts in the front of my head. As years went by I covered up my hair loss by using Dermatch. I used rogaine no results, propecia 6 months no results, avacor 4 months no results, hair loss never stopped. I'm really not empressed with the HT I recieved, I now have to comb my hair forward instead of back like I use to because my hair is really thin in the front. I am ready for another HT with about 1500 grafts and I use the LASERCOMB twice a week. My Questions are 1. Has anyone ever heard or used CONNECTICUT HAIR AND TRANSPLANT GROUP IN CONNECTICUT WITH Dr. Goldstein? 2. Is the LASERCOMB really effective? 3.
