  1. Sounds great. Just in case you are inclined, you should create a blog here so you can monitor progress: Hair Transplant Blogs
  2. Awesome. Out of curiosity, did Dr W have any concern regarding your young age for such a big procedure? I'm curious as I'm about the same age with the same type of pattern.
  3. You are making a huge mistake in not taking propecia. Side effects are rare, and doctors have been prescribing this drugs for twenty years now. I can't emphasize enough how critical propecia is to you. Anyways, good luck on the procedure, and keep us posted!
  4. Dude this is awesome. This is one HT to be proud of! Keep us posted in future months!
  5. Great work! Please keep us posted on your results....don't disappear like the other guys!
  6. Hairline loss is difficult to stop with propecia, it works best on top/crown. Stay strong, and take your fin buddy!
  7. That looks very very natural, it's shocking. Did he benefit a lot from medications on the crown as well?
  8. Hey, I saw the link to your procedure, it looks fantastic! If you do not mind, do you have preop pics of sides, back, and top? Just so we can get a clear idea of the preop stage.
  9. I'm going to disagree, your donor looks weak, but it could be because it is short. An in person consultation would be best to determine. Good luck either way!
  10. holy crap that's awesome!!!! During his videodiary i was coincidentally thinking that he would make a good actor, he had really good command of facial expressions.
  11. bakri do you have any preop photos with your hair in its normal state pre shaving? Happy growing!
  12. Raulbrammin - congrats on your op, it looks very positive so far. Can you post your preop pics? I looked at your earlier thread and the pics are removed, it will give us a good idea of your transplant, we need to know what you started with.
  13. Congratulations sir, and please keep us posted on how it turns out. I for one have a similar loss status, so a lot of interest on my part.
  14. You should look into your family history apart from your dad. A strong history of hair loss will help you decide, I believ.e
  15. yay! Looking forward to seeing more pics. Congrats sir.
  16. While the clinic is respected on this board, it is disappointing to see top, back and side shots omitted.
  17. The only way I think you could be an HT candidate is if you get FUE done to add coverage to the front and top of your scalp, not with the goal of getting hair, but simply so you can create a "buzzed" look, say with a triangular hairline. In that vein, SMP might be a good idea to investigate as well. Broadly you should accept "buzzed" as the only possible style that is achievable, and try to find a solution, whether it is FUE or SMP that can maximize your look for this particular style. I don't know how often that is done, but you should discuss it with your doctor.
  18. I agree with the telling the truth one. You have nothing to be ashamed of!
  19. Hey, out of curiosity, do you have any photos of what your hair was like prior, without shaving, so we can see a clear picture? Not to bother you, but it helps us prospective patients get a clear picture. Best of luck!
  20. Sir, if you cannot afford a good surgeon, then please do not do a HT at all. You can make more money down the line, but you only have one head! A lot of men of your loss level have been helped, but cost is not the deciding factor!
  21. I think this surgery is a little disappointing in terms of coverage. It looks natural, but given the fact that it was concentrated in the front, I would have expected greater thickness. Was the hair calibre very fine?
  22. ahmed, you should also get on finasteride and minoxidil, it will help you preserve the hair you have.
  23. Jotronic - Not that I'm questioning your judgement as I don't have the trained eye that you do, and I agree with your assessment, but hasn't HW gotten good results with people of similar hair loss levels? For example the patient named Dutch or Zauriel, I believe he had a similar level of baldness, or even your case before your first surgery with HW. OP - I think you should get on fin as well as minox. Fin will keep what you have minox will thicken it hopefully. You have a decent shaped head, and I think if you shave the sides real close and buzz the top, it will look good. Sadly shaven heads are not common among south asian or middle eastern people, but it may look fine on you. Also it will help if you get into shape.
  24. I just see a head full of thick hair mocking me.
