  1. Exactly, it's too soon to make a conclusion.
  2. Yep that's why people always go for that 2nd transplant. With FUE it's no big deal with strip you keep risking nerve damage and scar stretching.
  3. Diep in northern California. I think that's it lol Have you given Finasteride and Rogaine foam a try?
  4. Dr. Diep and FUE. I don't know where you're seeing "see through" Diep hairlines. His Youtube videos are some of the best and he has posted hundreds. No single transplant from any doctor will make your hairline as thick as it once was. Get on Finasteride and try Rogaine foam.
  5. 5 months is so early. You probably won't see a ton of growth until the year mark. Chill out
  6. This guy must be extremely happy. Another great FUE result. I'm sure he'll go back and get that crown filled in with a follow up procedure and then be golden.
  7. HLS2015 I've personally had 4000 fue grafts taken from the back of my head and you can't tell anything was done. Not even when my hair is super short. My yield was amazing. You bash fue all the time even though you see the great results on this site. I don't get it. You're 26,been on here for a mere 3 years, and know it all huh? Let's hear the details of your transplant and let's see some pics....
  8. Like 2500-3000 grafts depending how low you want that hairline. Main thing is to try and stabilize/regrow some of your crown. FUE for sure don't risk that strip scar.
  9. LMC so you chose Dr. Gabel because he lived close by? You really could have had that density fixed by choosing a good FUE surgeon. Dr. Diep would have fixed you right up that's for sure. It blows my mind Dr. Gabel would just remove all of those grafts. Now he has you on the hook for more repair and i'd guess....transplanting more hairs down the road lol.
  10. 3000AD you made a wise decision going with FUE and it looks great! You will be very happy in a few months.
  11. turingmachine your hair looks completely normal for 6 months quit worrying haha. All transplants look like that mega close up.
  12. At 30 and with only that much hair loss i think you're a really good candidate for FUE. Depending on how low you want the hairline you need like 2000 in the front and 1000-1500 in that crown. So you've used Rogaine foam on your crown?
  13. Hey bloodhshoteyes great pics and the work looks good. I think you'll be pretty happy here in 6 months or so. Happy growing.
  14. That's going to look great in 6 months man! Diep was a excellent choice. I love his Youtube videos. Yeah do what you can to prevent further loss because 24 is a very young age to have that much loss. Good luck.
  15. Rajesh, yeah you're suppose to keep your recipient sites good and moist after a transplant. Spraying it with water every 30 minutes or so. I always take baths and soak my grafts and take a couple of long showers a day. You should be scab free a week after your transplant.
  16. Livinla have you tried Finasteride and Rogaine foam? Give those a shot before you get a ht on your crown. SMP is a joke in my opinion.
  17. Dobler it's only been 7 months lol. It's early. Maybe you're just losing even more native hair. You shouldn't have shaved it if you liked the way it looked and why cut your hair so short when you just spent $$$ on getting it fixed? Grow it out and enjoy it.
  18. fuzer1 it looks a little straight but it doesn't look unnatural so just come to grips with it. A full head of hair is better than what you had before man.
  19. Kiwidude yeah duh call the office. Yes he offers a cash discount. I've had 2 fue surgeries with him. Both turned out great.
  20. Konior does excellent work but if you're only a Nw2 , in your 40's ,and only want 2000 grafts did you even consider fue?
  21. garethbale I was the same age and pattern as well. Finally pulling the trigger and getting a FUE procedure was the best decision i ever made. I wish i had done it 5 years earlier. I was scared to get a strip procedure due to the scar, scar stretching, nerve damage, etc. You won't be able to hide your transplant if you work in a office. You'll just have to suck it up and tell people...or have a good excuse. HDC does some fantastic work. You'd be in great hands with them. I pm'd you.
  22. I'm 5 months out from my 2nd Nader fue of 1800 grafts (total 3800 grafts) and the difference in my appearance is amazing. My hairline hasn't been this nice or low since i was 26 or so (a decade ago). The "ugly duckling " stage of the first 3 months or so really made me feel like shit this time around. I felt hideous and wore a hat...which i never do. So it feels great to be getting hair compliments again. The redness will eventually fade and you'll be looking good. Happy growing wilkinte!
  23. "Respectfully, is a Norwood 1 age appropriate for the entirety of your life?" "Most men naturally recede to a 2 by mid life, whether they experience baldness or not." I see plenty of men 60+ with perfect low hairlines that haven't budged in their lifetime. JEALOUS lol It looks great. Getting older doesn't mean you need a "mature" hairline. Get the hairline you dream about bennyt89.
