  1. Jimmy86 I agree you need to let your hair grow out a little for us to give you better advice. You probably need 3000+ and if your worried about people thinking your new transplant hair is just "thinning" hair than i suggest you don't get a transplant cause it's never going to match your natural hair 100%
  2. Your hair looks great iq732. I'm at about 10 weeks post op from my 1800 fue with Nader. I'm in the ugly stage and wearing a hat haha but everything is right on track.
  3. It looks pretty good i think you'll happy when it all grows in. You might want more density though only time will tell. Yes most doctors who perform FUE will handle African-American hair with no problem.Hopefully your scar for only 800 grafts will be thin and unnoticeable. How much did the 800 grafts cost you?
  4. Spanker you're a paid representative for one of the most expensive doctors on this site (who also pays a lot to be on here) ...so your opinion about who's greedy and what's affordable doesn't mean anything to me. I'm glad you've owned a Lexus. Bravo
  5. Dr Nader doesn't need to pay a website to be promote him when he 's already booked solid every day of the year. 1978Matt well thankfully Dr. Nader doesn't have to pay for "advertising and another $20,000 for HTN membership" haha Now did i say a u.s. doctor should charge $3000 for a full days work? No. But do you really think charging 20 grand to move a couple thousand hairs around on someones head isn't greedy? Especially when so many doctors do multiple patients a day and just pop in once in awhile that day to make sure the techs are doing ok...doing 90% of the work. Did i say every doctor? No.
  6. ^ LOL My Cash for Dr. Nader was.....in my wallet. Going to Mexico to see Nader is very easy if anyone is thinking about going to him. I'm 2 months out from my 2nd Fue of 1800 grafts and everything is right on track. I have early growth and a lot of my hairs didn't even shed but my hair grows extremely fast. My opinion on U.S. doctors if that yes a lot of them have the skills but they all charge way too much. The average person will have to just suffer with hair loss and that sucks. I do love Dr. Diep's aggressive hairlines though and the man has more youtube result videos than anyone. At $6 a graft I'd be very upset if the transplant didn't go perfectly though. The fact that some doctors still charge $10 per friggin' graft is insane to me and shows that they don't give a crap about patients it's all just about getting rich.
  7. It will be fine. I'm 2 months out from my 2nd fue and both times i had a few hundred hairs not shed and start to grow from day 1.
  8. lol I looked at your pictures. You are perfectly fine dude. Did you really post about 1 hair follicle barely bleeding? ha It looks good you'll be happy here in a few months.
  9. Hiding a hair transplant is impossible unless your going to wear a hat for months. People will know something was done due to the redness etc etc etc.
  10. I took 20,000 mcg a day after my last transplant and it grew in super fast. That's what i'm doing right now after my 2nd ht as well.
  11. Look elsewhere imho. Some so-so doctors in that area and some that charge a arm and a leg. Why limit yourself when traveling isn't a huge deal.
  12. Take a fuckload of biotin from day 1 on from your transplant it makes every hair on your body and head grow way faster.
  13. You'll be in good hands with Nader. I'm 5 weeks out from my 2nd Nader FUE of 1800 grafts. Everything was easy and is right on track just like last time. If you have any questions i'll try to help.
  14. Mrbob98 of course he paid Nader every time he had surgery. It sure would be great if you paid a surgeon only once for multiple surgeries haha. BUT he meant grafts not dollars. It was more than $3000
  15. ThinScalpSF post some pics to properly get advice. I myself love FUE. Strip is outdated and the risks are too great in my opinion.
  16. actual growth in the 3rd month and I was looking great by the 6th month mark. Then it continued getting better up to 18 months.
  17. So it's 3500 for 1000 grafts....yet you got only 800 grafts and he charged you 4500? 800 grafts is nothing for a Norwood 2.5 I feel like you will be wanting/needing way more grafts when this is done growing in. Doctors love to get you on the hook for further surgeries.
  18. I think our hairline design looks great it might just need a little more density. Maybe try rogaine foam on the crown? I'd personally just get some fue done on it.
  19. I've had 2 FUE surgeries (4000 grafts) and I'm not on meds. I didn't have shockloss and it hasn't affected my hair in a negative way.
  20. I wouldn't do another strip especially for a measly 800 grafts. I do think that 800 would fix your crown though. What side effects did you have on finasteride? I've never seen a great result from Dr Martinick so my opinion is to look elsewhere. Travel and get some great fue work done. Your hair looks good for being 43
  21. Looks great as is especially for being in your 40's but if you have the donor and the money hell why not lower it and add temple points. Go for it Davey
  22. A good doctor doing FUE with a .8 punch or smaller will leave you with NO SCARS. I've had 4000 grafts taken out of my donor, my head is shaved right now, and you can't tell ANYTHING was done to it. With fut aka strip you run risks of scar stretching and permanent numbness. Bad strip scars.... https://www.google.com/search?q=strip+scar+hair&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwinkOaO0PTRAhXIzVQKHZaECzUQ_AUICigD&biw=1517&bih=735#tbm=isch&q=bad+strip+scar+hair
  23. Yeah seriously look into FUE don't go scarring your head up man. I just had another 1800 fue grafts done 3 weeks ago and you already can't tell anything was done in my donor.
