  1. The hairline is coming in nicely. Still hoping for more density in the crown. I've been on finasteride for 9 months. Surgery was 7 months ago today!
  2. 11 weeks post op currently. Starting to see tiny hairs sprout up. Still in the thick of the ugly duckling stage. My scalp still feels really tight and I feel like I need to itch it and stretch the skin out all the time. Updated pic of crown below
  3. I'm at 2 months post op. Not really seeing much. My hair actually looks thinner than it pre op which I assume is due to shock loss. I haven't noticed any grafts starting to grow in my hairline area. Hoping to see some new hairs sprout soon. Just wanted to provide an update.
  4. I'm 6 weeks post op from my HT. In some areas it looks like there is a tiny little stubble and some areas it looks like nothing was done even though grafts were placed in that area. At what point is it reasonable to start seeing even short hairs? Thanks!
  5. I just paid like $13 at Sam's club for a big supply. It's generic Finasteride 1mg.
  6. Good to hear. That's what I was told I'm just paranoid. I didn't ever have any blood. Just little dry short hairs attached to scabs that started coming out around day 10. I had 3445 grafts with Dr. Scott Alexander (coalition doc) on Dec 28th. Only one month out right now and I'm staring at my hair all the time wishing it would grow! haha. Have to be patient....
  7. Isn't it normal to lose hair that is attached to the scabs within the first couple weeks after surgery? I noticed I had a lot of hairs attached to scabs when mine fell out. I was informed that is normal and part of the shedding process. I never saw the root of a hair fall out. Just small thin hairs attached to scabs.
  8. What are Dr. K's costs for FUT and FUE?
  9. Just over 2 weeks out. Still some scabs hanging on but I'm liking the way it's turning out. I see that there some little hairs attached to the scabs that flake off. Are those grafts falling out? I'd hate to be losing some grafts. Didn't know if the follicle was safe under the skin. Overall I'm very optimistic but playing the waiting game.
  10. No I didn't shave anything. Dr. Alexander shaved part of my crown and I think around my temples. Hard to recall as the Xanax was kicking in and it was a long day so I don't remember all details. Any input from other guys who have had HT as to how they think it looks? I was hoping to get more coverage in my hairline and temples but I think Dr. Alexander did the best with what he had to work with.
  11. Will be adding more to this tomorrow but wanted to get it started. I recently had FUT surgery with Dr. Alexander on 12/28/2016. He did a great job and I am excited to see the progress over the following 12 months. See attached photos.
