  1. Sure I understand- if you think you're not really losing hair & don't want to start with meds in case it makes things worse, then keep any eye on your hair & take photos every few months to see if things get worse.
  2. Hello, you should definitely consider meds especially at your young age as the meds should help quite a bit at this early start of hair loss. Maybe throw saw palmetto into the mix to see if you get further improvement with the meds. It would definitely be very early to consider a transplant- maybe wait for a few years for that if you're thinking about it now. One more thing- do plenty of research!
  3. I started using 0.25mg dosage two days ago. Will try to take that dose each day as opposed to taking 2-3 tablets each week. Not sure if it will make any difference.
  4. You look like you're at a Norwood 2 stage, heading to a 2A. Think it's early days for an op but if you decide to do it, 1-1.5k would be sufficient. My hairline was worse than yours even when I was 20.
  5. Hello, no problem at all. Honestly this subject has been mentioned & discussed heavily recently. In turkey you have Drs. Koray Erdogan, Hakan Doganay & Maral but I haven't seen too much from the latter. In the UK Dr Lorenzo is being praised a lot but I heard he's going back to Madrid in sept. In Belgium we have Drs. Bisanga, Devroye & Feriduni to choose from. In all honesty I would travel to get the best. Make sure you research a lot. I like Feriduni's work.
  6. Another brilliant result doctor. Traction should certainly be an issue. I had a school friend who suffered from it after years of wearing a turban.
  7. Great job, well done. Must be even more difficult for women to have thinning hair. Looks excellent
  8. Nice work doc. Any reason why more grafts weren't put into the crown? Another thousand & he would've had it locked up.
  9. No problem at all. Chose to go to Canada because I truly believed that my doctor was the best in the business & I still do. I also wanted a big session done & I wanted to see a lot of great results & happy patients. No clinic showed as many clear pics & videos as H&W & even now that's still the case. Now even in HD too. It just made me feel at ease seeing hundreds of photos of top quality work. I researched for hours every day for a year. So you have to go with your gut feeling & pick wisely. You seem to be on the right track. It all comes down to picking a surgeon that's been around & has buckets of experience. I'd avoid the gym for a while post op.
  10. Good luck with these butchers pal- don't know how they're not shut down already!
  11. Good luck with the growth, keep us posted. Not sure if it's the camera quality but wondering why the area is like blue when usually it's bright red. Maybe it was swelling up already. You chose a good surgeon.
  12. Hello, never heard of him or any of his work. Didn't realise Dubai would be even considered as a destination for a hair transplant- why don't you consider travelling to Turkey or Brussels? There's like 6 surgeons you can choose from.
  13. Hello, what makes you think they're good if you can't any results or feedback on them? What does tell you about them. Do your research. Dr. Maral has very low prices & there are is good feedback about his work. Dr. Erdogan does very nice work. Consider the surgeons in Belgium as well- Drs. Feriduni & Bisanga have some excellent feedback.
  14. Hello, looks like you're balding in a Norwood 4a area or heading that way that's for sure. I'd use medication if I were you- at least a small doze of propecia & some minoxidil foam for a year. Then you can consider a transplant as most of the front is thin.
  15. How about you get rogaine foam from amazon or boots? Cheaper off amazon. Or look at Kirkland for mino?
  16. Very nice, a photo from above pre op would be good if you have it to show how thin & wispy his hair was. Making a Norwood 4a area that dense is pretty astonishing.
  17. Can't go back to work within two days & not expect to look funny or for anyone to notice anything. Unless you have enough in the front to comb forward you'll need a week or two off.
  18. You did good to avoid them! Dr. Bisanga is excellent & very capable. I'd listen to his advice but I'd also maybe consult with another one or two quality surgeons like Drs. Feriduni, Koray, Rahal, Konior etc. Okay I'm 6 weeks post op. FUT. Until now I have shock loss on the sides, especially the left side. I conceal it really well by using the nanogen pencil. I had about 30 days away from work. The scar won't show once it's fully healed as long as you don't cut your hair down to I'd say less than a number 3. Or at least that's the case with me, but depends on you skin colour & density on the sides. Most of us are terrified of the scar but it doesn't show when done by a top surgeon & you have reasonable length & don't plan to shave your hair down really short. I think FUT yield is generally higher & more successful than FUE but this very point doesn't get discussed often anymore. Is yield success now the same for FUE as it is for FUT? I'm not sure. 3 months might be a bit over the top but I'd avoid weight lifting for at least 6 weeks. I plan to stay away from the gym for a total period of 10 weeks from post op time.
  19. It can be repaired for sure with today's technology & the skill of a quality surgeon. I've seen high Norwood sufferers that had old plugs removed & the scalp fixed. The front half would frame your face nicely & with a second operation the crown could be covered lightly too. Depends what you look like now & how thin things are on top. Any pics?
  20. Have you taken a look at the list of surgeons on this site? You'd have to go with one you're comfortable with after you've done your research. There are prices much less than what you quote & also from excellent surgeons. Can't have a hair transplant without scarring- FUE causes white dots & thinner donor area. Also depends on your situation & how many grafts you need- pics would help. On medication?
  21. Sorry to hear your distress. Do you have pics of pre-op? Looks like you have plenty of hair, you positive this is all original native hair? You should still contact the clinic even now.
  22. Hello. Most should be out but yes sure more will sprout. Full growth 12 months. Then there's maturity & the hair improves in quality past 12 months. Pictures can help to get an idea. The wispy look will improve too as the hair will thicken hopefully.
  23. Agree 100%. Go Belgium? Feriduni, Devroye, Bisanga. They're almost on our doorstep. Eurostar.
