  1. I agree with all the other gents on this. Be patient & carry on with life & spend less time staring in the mirror. You'll be fine! You went to arguably the best surgeon in the world. I'll definitely be seeing him too!
  2. Well done for taking the plunge and seeing the main man himself. Wong & Rahal have brilliant reputations as well & no one here is saying anything negative about Rahal. No one posts as many HD videos as H&W. Hasson is the giga sessions king from what you see. Remember London Lad? Nearly 7800 grafts in one session! I will be choosing Hasson & going this year. Congrats again & look forward to seeing your pics!
  3. Thanks for sharing your experience & confirming that Dr Hasson was awesome with you. Yet another happy patient. I will definitely be visiting H&W too! Good luck & I wish you successful growth!
  4. Your case sounds very similar to mine. I started thinning around the age of 20, on propecia now & I'm a NW 5A. Out of the two, choose Rahal. Don't think he operates in Toronto. Avoid Armani! Do your research. Good luck
  5. I don't agree with your wife either. It's not obvious & no one would know. Recently, on the way to work, I had seen a few men with big smileys on the back of their heads & those were very obvious
  6. Hello mate. Glad toppik is working for you! That's definitely one to add to my list. Sept I think. I wouldn't be able to wait longer lol. You're a gentleman. I'd definitely would love to meet you and see the master piece! Do let me know when you're available closer to the time because I can meet you anytime. Between now and then, I'm sure we'll be in touch. I'm meeting Dr Wong for a consultation in about 6 weeks time. Yeah I've looked at all their work on YouTube & on their site. Impressive stuff!
  7. What's happening friend. Glad to hear you're doing well & no pain anywhere! I know what you mean. Maybe you can use the foam later on in the crown a few hours bed time & not bother in the morning. Propecia should be holding onto those grafts then. That's great that's there little pinkness then! Scar not obvious on the sides? By the time I go, you'll have a great barnet! I'm torn between Hasson OR Wong!
  8. Howdy. Dr. Path in Bangkok if you don't want to travel too far. But from my extensive research night & day, I would say Hasson & Wong in Vancouver. Don't be scared of travelling. It's a once (or twice) in a lifetime opportunity to put things right. There are no guarantees in operations. There will always be a tiny element of risk with a minor infection for example. What's important is choosing the right surgeon. My advise is research, research and once you're done, do more research. Personally I will be going to either Hasson or Wong. I'm torn between them. Look at their videos on YouTube & on their site. No one else shows as many quality videos & awesome results. Good luck, stay strong & be brave
  9. Joe, great photos and awesome videos, cheers for posting them. Question- the end of the scar on the sides of the head, why is the tip of the scar so high up with both Dr Hasson's & Dr Wong's work? Is this for mega sessions only and the doctors need to cut so high up? It just seems to me that the scar tips are in the 'danger zone' of the Norwood 6-7 area. Your comment will be much appreciated. Cheers & congrats on your fourth op.
  10. Hello, Tony is spot on. You can use the foam now I think. The foam is also less harsh than the lotion and works mainly on the crown. But yeah do ask Jotronic about this as he has made comments about this before. How's the scalp now? Any pinkness? Donor tight or sore? Shedding over yet or not yet? You got any new pics?
  11. The result looks much better in everyday conditions than it does under your camera under harsh light and maybe he has thin hair. There's a lot more density in the photos in his kitchen. Joe, A quick question please and I'm sure you'll tell me (or someone else will) that you've answered this before: The scar on the sides of the head, it goes very high up in a lot of Dr Hasson's work. Why is that? That's the major thing that concerns me & is holding me back. This might not be the norm or the standard in all of the ops that H & W do, but why is the scar tip ending so high up? It touches the 'danger zone'. That Norwood 6-7 area. What would happen later in life when the balding progresses. A good explanation would be appreciated. Thanks
  12. Hello, It's slightly unusual but it's not unheard off. You might be a slow starter, that's all. Wait for the 10-12 months result. I know it's easy for me to say, but be patient. Can you post pre op and post op photos? Also, would you confirm who did the op & how many grafts you had put in? Are you on propecia? It's important to take it I think. Don't worry too much yet. Stay strong my brother
  13. I'm really sorry to hear your experience, it's very alarming & most of what you said is disturbing considering his reputation in the industry. Chin up my friend. Why don't you email Hasson & Wong for advise? Joe there and Christina are very nice to speak to and they will give you good honest advise. I'm sure the seniors and editors on here will also point you in the right direction. Stay strong my brother
  14. Congrats! UKpatient, Has the pinkness gone? Is the shock loss less now than the one month mark? I need to have it done and be back to work without anyone noticing, hence why I'm asking because I work in an office in London. Gents keep the photos coming in. Stay strong my brothers.
  15. UKPatient, Hope you're doing ok! Awesome hairline. I'm from London & I can't wait to do the same and visit Dr Hasson! Keep us posted with your progress. Best wishes pal!
  16. hello pal. how's it going? im thinking about going ahead with doing it with dr victor hasson too. there arent any decent surgeons in London, so i'll be heading out to vancouver! hope youre healing well! pls send pics if you can. cheers.
