  1. Congrats. You won't see growth now. Between 4-6 months you'll see developments. Between 7-8 months you'll see a big improvement. Good luck!
  2. Very happy for you! I hope you have a successful result. Best of luck and keep us posted!
  3. Congrats. Who did the op? Graft number? I would go to an older gentlemen's type of barber. On a week day if you can to avoid the crowd. Where is this magical hair dressers full of girls in their 20s?! If it was me, I'd shout it out and say it how it is
  4. Each surgeon has their own opinion obviously but the ones who shave the scalp want the new hair to match the direction of the existing hair for more naturalness & to avoid hitting & damaging existing follicles with the new grafts being inserted. The crown must be tricky to operate on with existing hair on it & with blood on top. In an ideal world, no one wants that half shaved jack a*s look
  5. I agree, you really don't know what's in the generic propecia. I have always used merks propecia. It's not as expensive as some people make it out to be. Not sure about whey making you lose hair. I used to use it a lot and didn't notice fast hair loss. I only use it a few times a week now because I don't train much My regret is that I didn't educate myself to see if there are medicines out there for hair loss. Started losing hair in my late teens & just didn't look. Only found propecia 3 years ago
  6. From that photo your hairline doesn't need lowering and your head isn't huge. You're fine
  7. Be patient and go back to the gym when it's safe to do so. I used to go to the gym 5 days a week and I know how eager you feel. But surely the transplant is more important
  8. I agree with mattj above. Stay on the lower mino instead of ditching it as a whole. My friend uses the 15% that used to be sold & he's had excellent hair growth but now he's got 4-5 small bumps on his forehead where the lotion dripped on his forehead & damaged the skin!
  9. That's right, you want to minimise that look post op. Just trim the sides but not too short and perhaps consider using a concealer like Toppik to hide the scar especially the tips on the sides of your head just behind the temples. That's what I will do. I'm planning a transplant in the summer, but they still haven't bothered getting back to me yet!
  10. Come on gents. Dr Hasson, your outstanding reputation precedes you, but what can be done now to help this gentleman NotHappy? Regardless of photos & concealers & IP addresses, what can be done to make NotHappy's life better? No one here wanted to see anything like this & I hope communication between NotHappy and the clinic would take place through Joseph & something can be done.
  11. Hello pal. Congrats on your planned HT. Personally, I would let the surgeon shave the top then you can trim the back & sides & this will sort of blend in with the top after a while. Just so your scar is not exposed too much. I wouldn't buzz the whole head. All the best!
  12. Hello pal, only just seen your question to me, been on propecia for about 3 years. No side effects & all this time I've always managed to perform. I would've definitely stopped if I was embarrassed in front of a woman! The morning erection is usually there as well
  13. I think Spex was saying 1mg for the WHOLE of week 1 then 2mg for the WHOLE of week 2 etc. So not 2mg on the same day! Too much pal. Take a quarter or half a tablet a day for now if you want
  14. That's right, do your research and then decide. I think you should at least wait until the hairs have fully grown in case the roids kill the small ones off!
  15. Visit the websites of these surgeons above. Send them your pics from different angles in good light. They will give you an online consultation and a true opinion. Also, search their names here & you will see good reputations. Then search the net and search YouTube for video evidence of surgery they have conducted.
  16. I think the dream you had is telling you you'll have hair as good as a grizzly! Good luck!
  17. Definitely. I would ask the surgeon or one of his techs at the very least. I wouldn't risk it for at least another couple of weeks. Let us know what the surgeon says!
  18. You can't have increased dht from creatine or protein or even steroids. Yeah the amount of testosterone in the body may increase from some substances but if your body is not sensitive to dht then you won't start losing hair. A lot of body builders take roids but they've got a full set of hair. There isn't a scientific connection between the two
  19. Wow! All the best pal, excited for you! Keep us posted!
  20. Hello dude. How much dosage are you taking? 1.25mg? I take 1mg finasteride. I didn't experience reduction in libido but did experience some shedding for maybe 4-6 months. A friend did experience a problem in the trousers department. So depends on the person I guess. I have seen improvements in the crown but nothing in the hairline
  21. Maybe consider brushing the hair a bit forward or up or to the side. Just anything apart from exposing the hair line too much at this stage. Just so you don't keep looking at it a lot. When it matures, then style it how you want
  22. Cheers for sharing that website spex. At boots, you don't pay or get forced to buy mino. They didn't even mention it to me. It was just ?89 for a 3 month supply of propecia & I picked it up there and then and didn't wait for a delivery. That's how much I paid about 6 weeks ago. They didn't try to sell me mino or anything else
  23. If you haven't seen anything at all about his hair transplant procedures, then be careful! 2k for 4 thousand hairs?.... Look for a surgeon with good feedback & video evidence & pics
  24. I dont think that shampoo will do anything. It might make you're hair better or cleaner, but doubt it would combat dht. Rogain. I've only used the lotion & the liquid. I gave up on it as it's too messy & itchy. Haven't used the rogain foam
