  1. Very true but sometime even a recommended surgeon can tell you things they can't deliver. Its a shame, and i thought i did my research.
  2. Hi Stinger, Hang in there, you still have a few more months to go. Hopefully things will improve. If it doesn't, at least you know Dr Bisanga and his team's will do whatever it takes to make you happy. Best wishes!
  3. paleocapa89, I share your pain, Looking at your hairline it doesn't look to low and like others have said, its way to early to judge. Give it several months and post some updates. You really need to give Fin some consideration. Being mislead by a recommended doctor is not a great feeling. Stay strong and hopefully things will turn out better after a few more months. All the best!
  4. Very nice result and density for six months. 57 grafts/cm2 is great!
  5. You should be fine past 13 days post op. listen to the nurse and follow your post op instructions. If you really lost a graft there would be some sign of bleeding.
  6. I know this feeling also. Its very exhausting on both the body and finances, especially when the clinic that's recommended tells you its gonna cost you more money to fix the poor results.
  7. When i had my 1 year follow up for my current procedure. I asked the Dr the same question, if the type of sutures used could have a negative effect on the scar outcome. I was told it does not. Good to know that there could be a possibility. Thank you for the links,
  8. Hi Scarredbaldy, Do you know what type of closure the Dr used on your revision? Thanks for the update.
  9. Can someone with extra laxity still get a good scar? I had two FUT procedure with two different doctors, first left me with a great thin scar, i was able to cut my hair to a grade #3. The second one not so much so, i cant even do a grade #5. I was told i had lose scalp during my recent 1 year follow up consultation. The clinic used a normal closure method on me but said a scar revision with a double layer closure should get me back to a #3 guard like before. Is that possible with my current scar and laxity? Also i haven't done any type of exercises after having my second procedure.
  10. Don't want to hijack Bigwilly's tread but yes this was my second procedure. My first scar was great in my opinion. I was able to cut my hair to a #3 before. Even Dr Arocha mentioned it was tough to find during our consultation.
  11. Dr Lindsey, Another question, Could the type of sutures used to close the wound have any affect on the scaring? Like an allergic reaction. I also continue to have this burning\itching sensation around the scar area past 12 months.
  12. Dr Lindsey, Great information and video. Would one be able cut their short again (#3 guard) after placing grafts into the scar? I don't really see a lot of before and after results when searching the web.
