  1. Hi Huhu, I think that you getting a little ahead of yourself and deciding that you aren't going to get a good result. At this stage your grafts are only just starting to kick in. I suggest that you read the faq's on this site which provides information about growth times. I also think that it is advisable to contact the clinic with any concerns that you have at this stage. The staff at the clinic are professional and I'm sure that they will provide as much support and advice as possible. I don't know of any HT clinics that offer FUE in Asia. There are a couple of HT surgeons in Europe or US for you to consider. Regards Rod
  2. Hi Brandon, Your hair looks totally fine to me. I think you need to go back to your counsellor for a discussion about this matter. Young man do yourself a favor and stop worrying. Regards rod
  3. Hi, I don't think that DHT Clinic does FUE or at least when I went to the clinic they didn't. I think you are probably being a little hasty at the 6 month mark and deciding that the HT isn't going to work. Check out the growth times FAQ on this forum which may ease your concern a little. Send the clinic an email and the photos that you have uploaded on this forum and get there opinion. Regards Rod
  4. Hi, Hair Care hasn't said anything negative about his surgeon and if he wishes to pursue other alternatives that is entirely up to him. Buddy, just take your time and and don't rush your decision. Good luck Rod
  5. Hi, Are you in contact with the team at DHT Clinic? They are good to deal with and will offer advice to you. The photos do seem to indicate that you have not have significant growth at this stage. Good luck. Regards Rod
  6. Hi, Did Doctor Pathomvanich perform both your hair transplants? Can I confirm that you are 5 months post surgery after your second HT? Are you in regular contact with the team at DHT Clinic? At 5 months my HT was just really kicking in and the usual growth time is 12 months. Good luck Rod
  7. Hi, I have been on this forum for a couple of years now and all the results fro dubai have been poor. I do think that there is a recommended doctor from this forum who has a clinic in Pakistan , also practices in Dubai. That said you have used a lot of your donor hair. Before you do anything else you to do your research. Good luck. Regards rod
  8. Hi, I think you need to do a bit more research before you commit to a HT. You should frequent this board as much as possible and do more due diligence. Which doctor in Thailand are you considering? It is pretty hard for a clinic to do a an online consult. All reputable doctors would take hair from the safe zone in your donor area. Regards rod
  9. Hi, I guess if you take into consideration the HT industry as a whole you are probably correct in estimating that there are only 50 - 60% satisfaction rates amongst patients. I would disagree that a norwood VI won't be happy with their results. I was norwood VI and had a successful HT surgery of 3743 grafts and my appearance is greatly approved. I think that some people who have undertake a HT don't do their research because a good doctor should tell that results do vary from one person to another. I see that you are in your early 30's and I surmise that you wouldn't be happy with an outcome that I had. I'm 50 years old and whilst my new hair is a bit see thru I still think I look vastly improved. I was never the type of person to live my life under a hat and just embraced my hairloss (well as best I could). I think when accepting your lot in life it all depends where you are sitting on the tree. I was on the bottom branch and I am greatful for the result that I received. I think the major thing for prospective customers (just like you did) is to research as much as possible on the net and take your time to determine whether you wish to undergo a HT. Regards Rod
  10. Hi, Yes there is only 1 web blog from one of her customers on this website. I think he has undergone a second HT with her earlier this year. If you want to have a doctor screened by this website you should consider Doctor Madhu. I'm sure there are other good doctors in India but the forum owner does the hard work and pre-screens a HT surgeon prior to recommending them. Btw I'm in the process of organising my visa to INDIA. The online system is a little misleading but I will apply for the visa this week. Regards Rod
  11. Hi, Someone mentioned that for domestic clients the cost per graft is 35rs but you would have to check that out for yourself. I had a HT done at DHT Clinic in Thailand in 2010 and had a good result but I want a bit more density in the hairline and grafts in the crown region. Doctor Radha Rani did her training at the clinic and I know the high standards that they require from their staff. 2 of her technicians also trained there and the others were experienced in HT procedures. She does 1 surgery per day and is hands on during the procedure. Do your research but a number of HT surgeries in India do multiple procedures in a day and the HT surgeon only removes the donor and starts the procedure and the hair technicians place all the grafts. I live in Australia and I have not had a face to face meeting. The only doctor who is recommended by this forum is Doctor Madhu. I hope my post answers your questions. Regards Rod
  12. Hi, You should consider Doctor Radha Rani who is in Vizag. She trained with Doctor Pathomvanich in Thailand a couple of years ago and has been operating her own surgery for a couple of years now. I am booked in for a HT with her in February 2012. Just another option for you to consider. From all reports you can't really go wrong with Doctor Madhu either. Regards Rod
  13. Hi Carel25, Thank you for being the first international HTN member to undergo a HT with Doctor Radha Rani and provide confidence for the rest of us to undergo a procedure with her. I'm hoping to get 2500 grafts from the donor area and transplant 800 grafts into the crown and the rest in the front third to give me a denser look but it all depends on my scalp laxity. I'm in the process of finalising my travel plans to Chennai at the moment and her clinic is going to organise the rest of my travel within India. Regards Rod
  14. Hi, My understanding is that the rate is $1US per graft for international customers. She provides a good level of customer service for international customers which includes organising your travel, acommodation and travel to and from the airport. Her price is very inexpensive compared to other doctors. What we need are more forum posts showing a 12 month post operative result. Regards Rod
  15. Hi, I missed your post regarding your recent HT with Doctor Radha Rani. I hope it went well and you are recovering well. I have just paid my deposit for the HT but I am yet to book my flight at this stage. I hope you get the result that you deserve. Regards Rod
  16. Hi Vanman, You seem to be an early grower. Glad your happy and the best is yet to come. I still look at myself in the mirror and have to pinch myself that it is me because I look so much different. Please keep the forum updated. Regards Rod
  17. Hi, Do you know for sure that you can get 6000 grafts in one sitting. I tried for the maximum amount of grafts and could only get 3743 grafts transplanted. I have read some people have extremely lax scalps and are able to have large grafts extracted from their donor regions. Anyway good luck with your HT. Regards Rod
  18. Hi, The main road that DHT Clinic is on goes on for miles and miles. Are you able to contact the clinic and book subject to the situation in Bangkok? I know that you really want the HT surgery but Doctor Pathomvanich and his staff are probably the best in Asia. Good luck with your decision. Regards Rod
  19. Hi, I did a search on the forum and I couldn't find much information regarding Doctor Ziering. This may not be a bad indication but it certainly doesn't help with your decision. The doctors that are recommended on this forum are pre-screened by the owners of the site. They do all the hard work to ascertain that the surgeon provides high quality state of the art hair transplants. I have even read where the forum manager has advocated for the rights of a patient which is impressive. You should also be aware that the recommended and coalition doctors do pay a fee to the site. I have been on the forum for almost 2 years and I have found it to be honest. They will always recommend one of their surgeons but you should be aware that the forum does all the work for you. In respect of HT's they can be variable and some people have outstanding results and many have good one's. Therefore you should go to a high quality surgeon to ensure you get the best chance of a good result. Good luck with your decision. Regards Rod
  20. Hi, Reading your profile I see that you live in Australia and I'm wondering whether you got it done in your country? Doctor Pathomvanich has many Australian customers and does a great job. It doesn't look like you've had a great result. Good luck and try not to be depressed. Regards Rod
  21. Hi, Are you actually booked with DHT Clinic and have you paid your deposit for the HT procedure? I definitely would not get a HT done if I had to tramp around in knee deep water after the procedure. I'd sit back and wait to ascertain whether the floods recede. Doctor Pong seems to be getting a few posts recently but not many of his patients come back and give us a 12 month update. Good luck with whatever decision you make. Regards Rod
  22. Hi, Good luck to doctor feller because the poor guy lives in the UK. I can't imagine the UK authorities agreeing to an extradition order. I wouldn't be concerned at all. Who would want to go to a doctor who threatens to sue his clients. Regards rod
  23. Hi, I stayed at Abloom Private Serviced Apartments (twice). Very good accommodation and it only costs about $50US per night. It is only 1 stop by BTS but is walking distance if you wish to walk but would not recommend this straight after your procedure. Regards Rod
  24. Hi, Just read a news report that states the flooding is getting closer to Bangkok cdb. The report stated that the water hasn't breached the northern most of the city limits at this stage and it should take 3 weeks for it to drain. DHT Clinic is in a multi story high raise building and shouldn't have any problems with floodiing. I think the main issue would be getting around prior and after the HT if the flooding gets that bad. I'm not sure I really helped you and I guess you need to be in contact with the clinic. I had my HT with them in August 2010 and found that they are a professional cliinic and I would trust their judgement. Regards Rod
  25. Hi, It looks like the second operation really thickened up the front for you. The crown is sparse but without providing how many grafts were transplanted it is difficult to any comment at all. Have you contacted the clinic to obtain details? Regards Rod
