  1. Thanks for your replies. Much appreciated.
  2. Hi all, I will be going next month to get a HT with Dr Path in Bangkok. I just wanted to ask what other people in a similar situation have done in terms of wearing a cap after the procedure. My main concern is with going to restaurants or other places to eat at night with a cap on. Is this considered rude to be wearing a cap? How have others gone about these kind of issues in general? Thanks for any advice.
  3. Hi, I was wondering if any has good recommendations for good hotels near Dr Path's DHT Clinic. I would prefer ones that are walking distance from his clinic (I would rather not take the BTS). Also, hotels that offer Wifi access in the room would be preferred. Thanks!
  4. Ok, thanks guys, you've been very helpful!
  5. I was just mainly concerned with getting infections and the like with the use of like unsterilized equipment and such. But I just re-read your reply, and all seems good, looks like I have nothing to worry about.
  6. Ok, thanks a lot for that. Has anyone got any information about Dr. Path's clinic in particular? Thanks.
  7. Hi all, I just wanted a little information to put my mind at rest. I'm thinking of having a HT with Dr. Path, and I know about his reputation and have read many great reviews about him on this site. I just wanted to hear from people that have visited his clinic, in terms of the cleanliness and hygiene of the place. It's just that Thailand is not known for these kind of things and their water supply for instance is questionable (eg. people who travel there normally drink bottled water for fear of contamination). I'm sure Dr Path's clinic is up to world standards and everything is properly sterilized and so forth for the procedure...I'd just like to hear some experiences with his clinic to put my mind at rest. Thanks!
  8. Thanks for the reply. Funny thing is, I was just in Thailand last month, if only I had decided to do it then. When you traveled overseas to Thailand how long did you stay over there? After you had the procedure did you stay there longer so you could go back to Dr Path for a checkup? I am unsure about the logistics of the whole thing. Also, I'm assuming I would need an initial consultation with him, so we could choose a strategy that was right for me. Would that initial consultation require another trip over to Thailand beforehand? Thanks very much for your help.
  9. Hi, I'm thinking about getting a HT and I'm looking for any positive reviews of surgeons in Australia. If possible, I'm trying to avoid going overseas because it's hard getting time off work, and the difficulty in going back for checkups etc... I've looked up Dr. Barry White/National Hair Institute but seen some bad reviews about him/them on this site. I also haven't heard the best reviews about Dr Jennifer Martinick. Most of the reviews about Dr. Knudsen seem ok, but he seems quite expensive and he only seems to do small sessions at once. However the cost is not that much of an issue if he does a good job. Does anyone have any experiences or reviews of any good surgeons in Australia (Brisbane area if possible)? Is it an up-hill battle trying to get a quality HT in Australia, or are there good surgeons that exist out there? Thanks
