  1. Hi, Why don't you create a blog and show your results to the community over the coming months. Whilst you had a good experience with the procedures its the end results that forum members and prospective clients of this doctor need to see. Good luck, Regards Rod
  2. Hi Colneal, Its great that you had a good experience with this doctor and her team were professional. If you wish to help other prospective patients you should create a blog and post your results as they come in. In my case I recently had a good experience with a newly recommended surgeon from this website. I am only 2 months post operation and its difficult for me to recommend to someone when I can't see the results at this stage. We have many posters who post on the forum about surgeons who have minimal feedback on the forum and then the person doesn't follow up with results. Good luck and I hope you have a great result. Regards Rod
  3. Hi, Doctor Radha Rani has only just been recommended on this site and that is the reason there are not that many before/after photographs. Its my understanding that FUT is her main focus at her clinic but she does do smaller sessions of up to 500 FUE sessions. Regards Rod
  4. Hi, It does appear that u don't have full density in your hairline. Can you take another photo without your hand on your head because it doesn't help with the illusion of density. I'm nt totally convinced that in general 40 - 50 grafts per cm gives a thick hairline IMO. It depends on the calibre of hair that a person has whether it looks full. The clinic is good to deal with and I would discuss any concerns that you have with them. Regards rod
  5. Hi Falcon45, Well if I had created a thread like this and had someone posted a message like the one you did it would really make feel uneasy. The poor bugger already will be feeling uneasy preparing for his hair transplant. Why don't you contact the clinic directly? I'm sure the clinic will be able to answer your enquiries. If Doctor Charles wasn't performing good quality hair transplants he wouldn't be recommended on this forum. Regards Rod
  6. Hi, I tried Finpecia for a month and I have experienced a loss of libido and I'm coming off the medication. I keep reading that side effects only occur in a low percentage of cases but I see many complaints about this issue. Regards Rod

    Finpecia

Hi, I bought my Finpecia from a source recommended by my clinic and it cost $65US for 700 tablets. At the moment I'm taking half a tablet daily because I had some side effects taking 1mg per day. I sure wish I had the opportunity to take medication in 1983 when I noticed that my hair was thinning. Regards Rod
  8. Hi, My understanding of hair transplant procedures is that 50 grafts per cm is about 50% of your normal hair density. You can never have the density that you had before you started losing your hair and when you wet your hair it is always going to be a bit thin looking. I would suggest that you take Bill's advice and provide some better photographs and details of your hair transplant. I had a procedure with DHT Clinic in 2010 and they are very good to deal with. I'm sure that they can help with any enquiries that you make. Good luck Rod

    Finpecia

Hi, I bought 2 years worth of Finpecia whilst I was in India after my hair transplant procedure. The packaging that you have looks the same as mine. Good luck Rod
  10. Hi, I had 3743 grafts from my first HT and 2795 grafts from my second. My current surgeon told me that my donor is now exhausted and there won't be anymore HT's for me. So I guest I'm about 6000 grafts. Who is going to do your next surgery? I hope it goes well and you get the results you deserve. Regards Rod
  11. Hi, Whilst I am only 1 month post after my HT surgery with Doctor Radha and I can't comment on the result of my hair transplant for at least another 6 months. I can attest that her clinic is well run,she is a very professional person and is dedicated to the art of hair restoration. I think she would make a good recommended doctor on this forum. Regards Rod
  12. Hi, I didn't get a repair because my first hair transplant was good quality and you should ask her what her experience she has in repair transplants. If you've had 2 previous failed hair transplants you should really do you homework. I've read that the average person has between 6000 - 8000 grafts and once the donor area is exhausted you won't have an opportunity for any more hair transplants. My donor is exhausted at 5815 grafts and this is my last hair transplant. If I was in your position I would make sure the doctor is very experienced in hair transplant repairs. Good luck Rod
  13. Hi, She charges in the vicinity of $1US per graft for FUT. Do you require a repair as part of your surgery? I found her to be a good quality surgeon, but my results won't be known until at least 6 months time. Doctor Madhu also does good work but I chose her because she is much more hands on during the procedure. Let me know if you want anymore advice. Regards Rod
  14. Hi, The clinic will give you a headband to wear to reduce the swelling. The band works really well with a loose baseball cap, which is what I wore and still wear for another couple of months. Its important to keep out of the sunlight to prevent the scalp from burning. Regards Rod
  15. Hi, I guess I'm hedging my bets by saying that Doctor Madhu is recommended on the forum. I did thorough research, made my decision and I'm happy that doctor Radha did my HT procedure for me. She did not shave my recipient area for me, but this is something that you need to discuss with her. Regards Rod
  16. Hi, Talk with Doctor Radha she is very helpful and I'm sure she can help with your request. During the consultation you could discuss the pros/cons of shaving or not shaving and whether it will affect your result. Please remember there are a few forum members who have recently undergone a hair transplant with her and have have had a good experience with her clinic. Disclaimer, our results will take about 6 - 12 months time to tell whether the experience and the outcome of the surgery are the same. I hope I don't sound negative with the above statement, but I did a lot of research and whilst she isn't widely known on this forum, I'm confident that I chose the right doctor for me. This is what you have to do yourself to make sure you feel confident that you chose the right doctor. Doctor Madhu is recommended on this forum and because of this is accountable to the community to ensure that he providers consistent hair transplant results. Good luck, Regards Rod
  17. Hi, I stayed at the Green Park hotel and the rate was 3000rs and the only minus was it didn't have a pool. I think the Gateway Hotel was a bit more expensive but from what I saw it is a bit more luxurious. I bought meals every night in the hotel restaurant and it was on 350rs, which I thought was very cheap and tasted nice. Why not send the clinic and email and find out where they recommend? Regards Rod
  18. Hi, Its hard to tell from the photos that you have uploaded but the hairs do look like they are come out at odd angles. How many grafts have you used so far from the 2 hair transplant procedures? How tight is your scalp? If you need to have a repair you should go to one of the top doctors to fix your hair, because you may not have too much donor hair that you can use and you only have so much hair that you can use. I've been told that we have between 6000 - 8000 grafts that can be used and then the donor area is exhausted. Do yourself a favour and consider travelling to go to a top clinic. Good luck Regards Rod
  19. Hi, The work looks very neat and my photos were similar to yours. Good luck and thanks for updating the forum. Regards Rod
  20. Hi High Flyer, I'm glad that you had a positive experience with Doctor Radha. I had a look at your photos, which were taken prior to your hair transplant and your existing hair is definitely worth saving. By taking precautionary medication you have a good chance to save this hair. The session that you had will give you a much better look and make you look years younger i.e. what you would expect to look like with hair . Over the coming months you will go thru the ugly duckling stage and try not to get too anxious during this period. We all go thru this stage but at around 5 - 6 months time, something magical will happen and you'll be so happy that you underwent the surgery. Good luck, Rod
  21. Hi, Most Australians seem to go to Thailand for HT because it is so close and travel is easier. Doctor Madhu is recommended on this forum which is a great bonus. Have u contacted the clinic, because they may have some patients that they can put in touch with. Regards rod
  22. Hi, I would try to contact them by telephone with your concerns. Good luck Rod
  23. Hi, How have you tried to contact them? Apparently they have a pretty good consultant who should be able to help you out. Good luck Rod
  24. Hi, I also think it depends on the size/length of surgery. My latest HT on 1/29 was a smaller session of 2075 grafts and after 4 days I felt pretty good but it depends on the individual. Best wishes Rod
  25. Hi, The clinic should give you information on how to make life easier whilst you recover. One recommendation will be to roll a towel up and place it under you neck to elevate your head whilst you sleep. Alternatively, I used a travel pillow which worked wonderfully, plus I took vallium and painkillers for about 5 days until the sutures were removed. Good luck Rod
