  1. does anyone else have this problem?? extended numbness?
  2. i never thought that numbness could last up to a year?? at least you know that it will not be permanent.
  3. if the color could be darker, you could make it seem that your hair is thicker in areas where it is not. up close though, you may not get away with this. just a thought.
  4. how much has it reduced? was it a considerable amount? everyone heals differently.
  5. i never knew that temporal points were the hardest. but now that i think about it, i have seen some pretty bad hts in that area. great posts.
  6. and its disgusting. so thats 2 reasons to quit!
  7. i would hope the numbness would go away!! Not sure if that is normal for 15 months or not? As for scar stretching, yes as stated we would probably need a picture to see.
  8. how long have you been using Finasteride? i would start with this and then if you see the problem progressing, consider ht. otherwise as said, you may be ok.
  9. ya mane. people often just put it on the credit card, so I would recommend doing that. Your doc didn't offer any finance plans? strange.
  10. congratulations mane! confidence is key. glad ht helped you. you are one of many success stories on here and glad you shared so that other people who are on the fence of getting ht (like me) can see. thank yoouuuuuuu
  11. does anyone else have any information about the "unethical" practice?
  12. how do you plan to keep your hair if you have to go through ht? or if you cant pull off the look you are going for? are you going to shave your locks?
  13. i think trying those products first (with ample amount of time to see results) is the first step when considering HT.
  14. the whole point of getting the ht is so that we dont have to use propecia.
  15. I have heard that graft splitting was bad and can have poor results, but unethical? is that really true?
  16. i never really knew that we could grow our hair long and it will still look ok. This is great news.
  17. so you are saying that this is on a case by case basis?
  18. doc, did the actual exercise have anything to do with the bleeding or were they completely independent of each other?
  19. when you start to lose your hair at that young of age, i seriously doubt it is from stress or related to that. is there any baldness in the family?
  20. hairthere, i never though we could get points that would count towards that. sweeet. thanks for the info, man.
  21. ya i totally agree. gather all your information before you decide to do anything involving ht. i have been on this site for awhile and am still debating on whether to get ht or not. try those products mentioned and keep us posted on what happens.
  22. haha. what perfect timing. What a perfect excuse to be lockdown. Was that planned at all?
  23. wouldn't a bandana put too much pressure on the scalp? I would stick to a light beanie.
