  1. Orangehair, I like this as it is subtle yet still quite significant. I bet he is pleased. Mick
  2. Dr Gabel, I am in agreement with the others on this...his glasses need an upgrade. The transplant is not bad either...Only kidding . This is typical of what we have come to expect from you, well done Mick
  3. This patient is in his late 40,s and on meds. He was primarily interested in restoring the front and top and we may look at the crown at a later stage. He recently sent a shot update but we hope to see him later in the year for a full set to be taken. Mick
  4. Med’s of course have had a role in the result. Med’s can improve native hair. If you see the result at 5 months you will see that the crown (not touched), improved, and also the sides of the unsafe area did the same. That’s the reason they decided to postpone a second procedure.
  5. Well spotted! Farjo Hair Institute | Galleries | Male galleries | Gaizka mendieta Mick
  6. This is a Patient who is 34, no med’s because of side effects. He had a previous FUT hair transplant with bad/poor result. His aim was toto have a more natural frontal area and we had a conservative approach due to the lack of medication. 3101 FU’s procedure (6395 hair; 2.06 hair per graft; 52 a 55 hair microns; 0.85 mm punch; 608FU1/1711FU2/723FU3/39FU4).
  7. This patient has had 2 hair procedures with us in 2010 & 2013. He is very happy with his outcome and his hair loss has been stable for some time. Mick
  8. This is just to introduce our latest recruit to our team, Pete.He is going to be assisting us on the Internet forums He will be posting results, assisting with inquiries and you will find him to be a very stand up sort of guy. Mick
  9. This is a patient who came to us at age 41 with extensive loss and was using Finasteride and Minoxidil. He had good donor hair density (90 F.U cm2)but the area was short. We initially planned to do 8,000 FUE in two sessions but he had excellent recovery in his donor hair. Between 2008 and 2013 we were able to undertake 5 procedures in total. 1?HT: 4044 FU’s (0.75 mm punch, 45 microns of hair) 2?HT: 3777 FU’s (0.75 mm punch) 3?HT: 2234 FU’s (0.75 mm punch, 4400 hairs; 1.96 hair/graft; 647FU1/1076FU2/443FU3/86FU4) 4?HT: 1715 FU’s (0.75 mm punch; 3854 hairs; 2.24 hair/graft; 299FU1/796FU2/521FU3/95FU4/4FU5) 5?HT: 1601 FU’s (0.8 mm punch; 3601 hairs; 2.24 hair/graft; 227FU1/846FU2/438FU3/87FU4/5FU5) Mick VIDEO VIMEO: VIDEO YOUTUBE:
  10. This is a patient with a background of chronic atopic dermatitis. He tried but abandoned medical treatment (finas/minox), so we advised him to return only to finasteride. The first procedure was performed 6 months after treatment was started: 2552 grafts (5350 hairs; 2.09 hairs per graft; 0.75 mm punch; 55-60 microns of hair thickness; 406FU1/ 1504FU2/ 632FU3/ 10FU4). We had a good outcome and the patient came back again three years later and continued with stability because of the med's. He wanted more density, especially in those parts not touched in the first surgery. We did a new procedure 1101 grafts(2672 hairs; 2.42 hairs graft; 0.8 mm punch; 70 UF1/522UF2/478UF3/31UF4). 11. Mickey and 67mph Thanks for asking. It was FUE and within 7 days there was nothing to be seen from a visual perspective. Very easy and straightforward .It was a small procedure but oddly enough i had an average count of 2.4 hairs per graft with just over 1200 being done to just behind the hairline and top of crown. He will be working from Spain again in September but already his diary is stacking up.The biggest advantage here is that he does pretty much everything himself. Mick
  12. This 36 year old patient has been using Minoxidil for a few years. He wished to improve his frontal and middle area in a conservative manner. We did a procedure of 2701 FUE (5733 hairs; 2.12 hairs per graft; 52 microns of hair texture; 0.75 mm punch; 337FU1/1542FU2/677FU3/44FU4/1FU5). VIDEO VIMEO: VIDEO YOUTUBE: PHOTOS:
  13. This is a 33 years old patient, not on med’s at the time of consultation. He had a very good donor area and no background of advanced loss in his family. We planned a conservative approach with 2701 FUE (6057 hairs; 2.24 hairs/graft; 60-62 microns of hair; 0.85 mm punch; 303FU1/ 1472FU2/ 894FU3/ 32FU4). Mick VIDEO VIMEO: VIDEO YOUTUBE:
  14. This is a 49 years old patientwith stabilized loss, not on meds and a good donor area. A 3601 FU'E first procedure takes place (9034 hairs; 2.51 hair per graft; 65 microns of hair; 0.9 mm punch; 370FU1/ 1474FU2/ 1360FU3/ 353FU4/ 40FU5/ 3FU6); After one year a second procedure was carried out to close the crown and redesign frontal hair line and temporal points: 2101 FU's (4759 hairs; 2.26 hair per graft; 0.90 mm punch; 277FU1/ 1070FU2/ 675FU3/ 78FU4/ 1FU5). He had a good result but we decided to make a final retouch to increase the density in the crown: 401 FU's (1007 hairs, 2.51 hair per graft; 36FU1/ 162FU2/ 165FU3/ 38FU4). 15. Dr Vogel, I would agree..even at the early stage a marked improvement has been noted. Mick
  16. This patient was far from an ideal patient when he first visited us. Light donor density and an expanding area of loss. He started on Propecia and we did a single procedure to improve the area of concern. He is very happy so far, with still a lot of improvement to come. Mick
  17. Alternative application for hair transplantation. This procedure was done several months ago to help with this condition. The patient is very happy so far. Mick
