  1. I had mine last year at the age of 28. Plan on more in the future.
  2. I have been on Finasteride for three years. During the first two weeks on the medication, I began to feel a pretty intense pain in my testicles. It stung to pee. I was about to quit the drug. I decided to give it a little longer before I gave it up. The sides subsided after the 3rd week and I haven't experienced any since. I'm sure some really do experience the sides, like Ceasar08. But I am also positive that many have placebode themselves by obsessing over the small probability of sides.
  3. goddam joe you look pimp. the hair looks great.
  4. 3V, I'm also 29. Had one procedure for the front. And I'm also thinking of getting some work done on my crown in the future. But I will also need to add some density in the frontal 2/3rds. Your crown isn't too bad right now. I'd wait it out a couple years as well. And I think with your type of hair, dermmatch or toppik would go along way with your crown.
  5. This is interesting. I'm curious as to what dosage you guys are taking with Avodart. Have your HT doctors been receptive to the switch from Propecia?
  6. Very interesting Bushy. We should start an investigation on this "coincidence".
  7. I wouldn't be disappointed. It's only 6 months for crying out loud.
  8. It is hard to tell by the video if the second guy's HT surgeon was good or not. But they didn't even discuss (on tape at least) Propecia!
  9. This is quite possibly the dumbest thing I've ever scene. I was clueless myself but not enough to think a fungus was causing my hair loss.
  10. I'm far from a finished product, but at 5 months I was just starting to sprout. 4 months has shown a dramatic improvement and still more to come. So be patient. Your pics look great.
  11. If you want a great surgeon and want to be in the vicinity of St. Louis, then I suggest to travel a couple hours north to Chicago and meet up with Dr. Konior.
  12. Thanks Dr. Carman and Emperor. I plan on letting it grow for another month or so before I get it cut. I'd like to keep it about as long as it is now, perhaps growing the hair behind longer to comb forward giving a layered effect over the transplant hairs. I'll give it some time.
  13. I'd say just shave them. Maybe pluck them becuz by 3 weeks your grafts should be very secure.
  14. Here is a pic of my hair combed forward. I'm over 9 months post op. My hair is naturally straight. The transplanted hairs in the frontal region is coming in curly. Recently, Bill has stressed that the transplanted hair will mature and take on the attributes of the native hair. So should I wait it out? Or go by a hair straightener? Thanks and ciao.

  16. I didn't do them before my first HT. I definitely plan on doing them before the next.
  17. Good call Shamrock. You'll be one happy camper.
  18. I think I get what you are asking. The transplanted hair on top will most likely never be as thick (dark, shadow, whatever) as the hair on the sides. When the hair in the recipient region is grown out it blends in better because the transplants give the illusion of density. But a shaved head doesn't help create the same kind of illusion.
  19. Sorry about those results man. I will say that your scar seems thin enough that an FUE procedure should be able to make it less noticeable.
  20. How long does the scar usually stay pink? Mine is very thin but is still a little pink at 9 months. I'm def a slow healer.
