  1. getting a HT in this area, at your age, is crazy! Any Doc., who would suggest you are a good canidate would be unethical. You are far to young to get a transplant. I waited till I was 26, and am now 29. With two HT's done. You don't know where your baldness is heading.
  2. but you would think, with that kind of wealth, a comb over is a poor person's fix. He could have had that fixed by now!
  3. 15 weeks post op... before the week 16 shaving and in bad need of a hair cut!!
  4. I'm Just starting to see some good growth. Now at week 20. first HT= 1440 hairs or (est.) 500 grafts at MHR. second HT= 650 grafts @ private clinic in GR. 6. good luck fed, can't wait to hear about the results.
  7. fizzle, that obviously depends on how much you use it. I personally hardly ever use the $29.95 bottle, and it will probably last me 3 months. But you need to weigh in how much you use also. Every one is different. I would guess maybe on an extreme use, 2 months. On a conservative use 3-4 months. And make sure you match the hair color up correctly!! I f'd up the hair color, but fortunitly I can hit the tanner to fix that. Hate be pasty white anyway.
  8. Nice job Pat!! Looks like you went at it with a vengance to bring light and knowledge to Hair Transplant surgery. Thanks!!
  9. Mire1954, Thank You, Sir!! You are doing a great deed for all. I think many agree that you need not thank any, but, a gratitude is owed to you sir.... Looks great!! outstanding, good luck and hat's of my man! Literally!
  10. 4head, Bosley, UGH!! ok, now that that is out of the way, I also had scabs that were still there about 2 months after my procedure. I took my finger nail to them. I didn't remove a hair with them though. I would think You are ok, as long as bleeding didn't follow. Generally, Those grafts at 4 months should be completely seated, as any other hair on your head. (BUT IF SOMEONE FEELS DIFFERENT PLEASE COMMENT, I NEVER HEARD OF THIS) Yes, your hair should grow 3-4 months, but it does make a differance where these grafts were placed. Seems the crown area takes the longest. I am just after 4 months and am starting to see growth in the crown. The frontal stuck arounfd for me since day 1. Though everyone is different. Just getting feeling back is normal. I took 6 months from my first HT on an area of the back of my head. Though the 2nd, was very much quicker. About 2 months all around. AGAIN, depends on the individual. What do you mean, "my scar is still healing in some areas (especially the ends)? This should be heald!! If it is not, go see your personal doctor, NOT Bosley! This should have been heald, closed, within the first 2 weeks! Don't do anything to your hair if your scar is not healed!! Immediatley see your doctor!! Good luck and keep us updated!
  11. map and jontew, apperantely I don't have a clue either. Well, I can say I figured out how to post a photo, the new hard way.
  12. same here mapman, I hope this change is for the better.. There really is a lack on the communication to us all on the exact changes. Guess we all have to just stumble around.
  13. mapman151, yes were advised of a site change... It juwst wasn't campaigned. The exclusions of Docs, maybe not by Pat's choice, but by them.. But not sure exactly what you are refering too.
  14. man, ok it sucks.. you have to upload pic's in "photo album" by: select "NEW" in task bar then, "PHOTO ALBUM" give it a name......(which I think will be the header) then type about the photo's.... that is pretty muck it! Jontew., can I get a trade on this info.? I might need some quick leagal advise, nothing much to rack your brain over!!! Hope this posting helps everyone!
  15. actualy, I definetly like the pop up reply window! Nice to check spellings and reflect on what you are replying on, when typing. Pic's are ok, I think I am the only one so far who has figured that one out. It does seem to be a little more complicated. Don't like that you have to select comment, to post feedback. All in all, definetly has it's Pro's and Con's. Seems an even trade.
  16. I didn't want to call someone elses phone. is it ok if I give ya a call tomorrow?
  17. go see a well known HT surgeon. They are the only one's to give you the true answer. Good luck and glad to hear that you kicked the unthinkable!!
  18. don't have that cell number. Or is it the number posted on that pic?
  19. do you mind if I asked how much your last HT cost? I have a pretty good idea of how many grafts it took to get your awesome result. Thanks man
  20. the only pain, are the shots!! Obviously you can't feel the pain of the disection of grafts, since the strip has already been removed. Other than that, it's just the amount of time, whoch is patiance, not time. Good Luck
  21. Smoothy, yes. I bought it. I posted a thread last week. It does seem to be working for thickening. I paid $2.95 for a bottle.
  22. though the pink shirt says I'll slap you to death.. sry RDA, couldn't resist. Don't kick my ass.
  23. you are not kidding man.. Last people I would want to know are my fellow workers... But look at the size of him, they're prolly all scared to comment anyway. Awesome results, glad to hear and see there maybe atleast one outstanding Doc., in michigan.
