  1. to get a scar infection after 3 months would be completely odd. This wound has healed after the 10th day. I could see if it were within the first month. It sounds to me like ingrown hairs also. They can hurt like a SOB. I think your ok. Just call the Dr. and ask.
  2. you didn't mis much.. just some guy getting a nice looking head of hair combed. *Dr. Feller, would be nice to have seen a quick shot of a photo or video of the before.
  3. I'm not sure where that question went or landed. It's the, "find my photo's game!!" Cash Prizes to all winners! Except Bushy, He will find a legal loop hole and take my HT away!!
  4. that actually looks pretty good! Goes to show how well strategically placed grafts can look. Dark, somewhat thin hair is a negative, which he seems to have, but waivy to add the bonus. Awesome job!
  5. LOL, .. meant dad's if you ever lived in a trailer! Otherwise your DAD!
  6. hey skin, first off, whata is that cord hanging from your ceiling? second, get on Proscar immediatley!! --- Now stop panicing!!------- Look at your grand fathers and your uncles and dad's. Get an idea of where they are at with loss. Hate to say it, but at your age pic. the worst one. You maybe heading that direction. After you figure that out, you will be able to choose wisely on what doc to pic. If they are mildly recessed, then you are in exellant shape, (NW1-NW3). If above that, (NW4-NW6), there is still hope. Again Proscar, NOW! You would be a good candidate, but really need to know a little history to help you possibley steer in the right direction. Thanks for posting a photo, that does help to access a lot!
  7. maverick, something you will wwant to consider. If you shave your head close, after an HT, people will know something is up. You have a scar on the back of your haed if you get a strip, or you'll have bald spots if you get a fue. Just something to keep in mind. Usually a half inch shave will leave it covered.
  8. that's interesting.. any accountants on this forum who could answer if we could decuct the national sales tax?
  9. That's great man.. 2000 from donor, and fixing up the disaster! That is an excellent start back to normalcy. I hope you the best man. Keep your hope alive, even if you don't win! I feel for ya buddy. You by all means have topped all! And deserve it!
  10. same here. Two HT's and no swelling! Not sure what really goes on with that.
  11. umm, I handed that torch to Rugger! LOL Hey, even if it is shock lose. Definitely stick to the "end will justify the means." It is very true!! Look like crap for a month or 2. Look twenty times better in the end. It comes back.
  12. oww, come on Rugger.. You know you always wanted to put ass hair on your head. You're amongst friends here. You can admitt it!
  13. looks like you maybe getting a little shock lose. But hard to tell from the wet hair. If so, don't sweat it. It'll grow back with the grafts. Can't believe the lack of redness, and lack of swelling. I've seen pics of people who look like they were in a bar fight the night before, and someone took the ugly stick to them.
  14. ugh, Thore pound wood! Beat special person with club. Does not good. Wearing special helmet. Ugh, me make fire. That was for any moron who's wants to belittle someone for who the are presenting themselves as. That is courage. Altair, you are all courage. Good Luck Altair, sry, but I gave my vote to someone else. You were right there too man.
  15. you are looking in excellent shape! Looks like the redness isn't sticking around. That's a bonus. How is the scabing?
  16. ya, but it would be damn funny!! Speacially while drinking beer!
  17. Hey, I guess if I don't pull a tooth out of it, I'm OK!! I'll try the nesporin approach. I don't think it's infected, since it is just dead skin be scratched off. It's just one of those, "It should'nt be there' so I'll remove it" things. Though I'm the type that takes a knife to my self a slits open my finger to get a sliver out, or even an ingrown toe nail. Who needs a Dr. anyway. Heck, maybe I'll do my next HT on my self!! I'll use the hair on my ass!!
  18. I have a question for the veterans. I've got this annoying bump on my head. It's the size of on ingrown hair, but like a calus. I've scratched it off, picked it off, and even dug my nail into it off! And it keeps coming back! What the hell is it? and how do I make it go away? It does not hurt, nor is it even noticable. But when I run my fingures through my hair I can feel it! It's not really a big deal, but if I can rid of it, all the better!!

  20. No Face lift from an HT! Here's the best example you will see... Take your left hand, and grab your upper arm. Pull up while watching your fore arm. Did the skin move? No... Sry, you do not get a face lift!
  21. Lol, I think Smoothy wants to buy you a cup of coffee!
  22. hahahaha, is this in reply to the nurse? "The one thing though...no matter HOW prepared you think you are, that first shower/bath session will FREAK YOU OUT!!!"?
