    Thanks Hugh. Yes everything will be covered by homeowners. Fortunitely I live alone, except for my dog. He is fine. He was caged and they didn't mess with him.

    I regret to say this, but I will not be able to post any new update photo's on my progress. My home was broken into yesterday, and my camera is gone. Along with thousands of dollars in electronics. I had recent pics on the flash card I was going to post, but since it was in the camera, it's not going to happen. But anyway, look forward to seeing more results from everyone. Later

    My last HT, I went in on Wednesday, the day before Thanksgiving. I wore a bandana, till Monday, then a hat to work. Though I can pull that kind of thing off without raising a flag. Ya, I'm professional, but you would never know by looking at the way I dress. Hat and shorts, are the best office were. Otherwise, 10 days should be good.

    Most people wear a hat, as I did, so you don't look like Frankenstein in public. Who wants people asking why you have stitches or staples on the back of your head. Or why it looks like someone ran a cheese grater over the top of your head. Hats, or Bandana's cover great. Or if your a Gee Funk West Sider, wear both!

    LOL... Jerry! Ya, it amazes me how many people manage to bump there head after surgery. I did it, both times!! Makes me wounder if we normally nail are heads against something, that often, and don't pay much attention to it. Or maybe it is because we are trying so hard not too. You should be ok. I whacked myself pretty good the first time. That was about 8 days out also. I think the only thing I damaged then was my brain. But I can't remember. Usually after 4-6 days, you are pretty much good to go. GOOD LUCK, and hope you didn't get brain damage.

    you can use dermamatch or toppic too help hide the redness. Use both if it's bad.

    Actually what generally happens is, nerves are injured from the major insicion. Though the nerves in the central nervous system (spinal cord and brain) can not heal, sensory neurons in the peripheral nervous system do regenerate. But remember, you still do run a very slight risk of permenant damage.

    never heard of him. And yes it definitley is appropriate. Try to see them in person and not just photo's.

    thanks Freaky D, we are in the same boat! I reflect back on my first HT and had little shockloss, and growth was almost immediate. Now this 2nd HT, is painfully slow. But, great to have the stubble!

    OK, I'm getting great frontal growth. My last procedure caused a lot of shock loss. If you've seen my pics, you should be able to tell. The frontal has started to grow rapidly at 20 weeks, but the crown is still slowly but surley still growing. I'm trying to judge what I can expect. From my first HT, I had little to no shock loss, or fall-out! But this was focused on the front. My question is, what is the longest you've waited for good crown growth? Again, I'm at roughly 20 weeks, and am just starting to see some descent, but not extreme growth. Thanks for your input!!

    first HT= 1440 hairs or (est.) 500 grafts at MHR. second HT= 650 grafts @ private clinic in GR. Dr. Ringler. *1st, HT session completed 08/18/2001.. Frontal and temples *2nd, HT session completed 11/26/2003.. Frontal Density and Crown.. (more focused on crown)

    agreed with dtrojanz, You should definetley start from the front. Unless you can make a differance covering all. But at a NW6, getting 2000 grafts, you would actually be wasting. You really wouldn't do anything that would dramatically make a differance other than adding hair to the top of your head. Definitely start from the front! best of luck man! keep us updated

    Al4545, good luck in what you decide. It atleast sounds like you are taking the necessary steps! I hope you find that maybe this isn't the best option.
