Senior Member Myles23 Posted December 21, 2023 Senior Member Share Posted December 21, 2023 (edited) This is fantastic growth for only 4 months @mxnprettynice and to think you’ve got a further 8 months to go, you’re in for a killer result. I’m scheduled for Turan in February and I’m really interested in your post recovery protocol. It makes sense for blood flow / graft survival and I’m not sure why it’s not talked about. Thanks for the update Edited December 21, 2023 by O-Myles59

Senior Member duchaine Posted January 12 Senior Member Share Posted January 12 Did you stop 5ar inibhitors before or after ht? If yes, when did you start reintroducing fina/duta? about topical minoxidil: did you feel any side (irritation, flaking etc) from using minox right after the op? Regular Member mxnprettynice Posted March 5 Author Regular Member Share Posted March 5 Month 6 | Hairline! I really like the new hairline. I've gotten so used to it that browsing old photos shocks me with how much my hair used to look recessed. Though my treatment early on worked very well in terms of speeding up the recovery and having full results by month 4, nothing much has changed since then, just that the hair got longer. And I did check for any new growth but didn't see any. Harsh lightning (Lamps directly at my hairline) 4 1

Regular Member hairman4321 Posted March 26 Regular Member Share Posted March 26 Month 3 was really looking like most other transplants then... LOL that month 3 to month 4 transition, safe to say this 'enhanced recovery' protocol seems to work. i haven't seen anyone with a pretty much complete HT after 4 months. i was curious to do this myself but didn't know where to get any of the meds without the hassle of going to a doctor and having to explain some crazy theories i heard on the internet, so i didn't do it.
Senior Member Myles23 Posted March 26 Senior Member Share Posted March 26 (edited) I started this same protocol after 5 weeks as it made sense increasing bloodflow to the recipient, ill be 10 weeks post op tomorrow and have noticed significant growth already. There is something in this protocol and combined with oral minoxidil, could be a game changer to some. I have developed slight and more frequent headaches though which is the only downside. Like the OP, I will start reducing the dose from month 4 and completely off it by month 5. Edited March 26 by Myles23

Regular Member mxnprettynice Posted May 2 Author Regular Member Share Posted May 2 Month 9 | Feeling like a different person! People are often surprised when they learn that I'm 30 years old. The impact of a hair transplant is exactly what I hoped for during my ugly duckling phase. Now, I'm simply enjoying my new hair.
Senior Member Myles23 Posted May 2 Senior Member Share Posted May 2 This is awesome mate and great work by Turan. Not seen results like that in your 4 month update. Question…. when microdosing cialis / viagra, did you experience any mild headaches? Might be unrelated but since I’ve reduced my intake to 1.25mg / 1.25mg they’ve subsided a little. Will stop at 5 months…. To my wife’s delight

I don't remember having migraines, but in my opinion, you are providing great aid for the grafts, which need more blood. It's important to use Cialis starting the second day after the procedure, especially if you are a vaper or smoker.
