FUECAPILAR Dr Turan 2431 grafs, enhanced recovery test

I'll be conducting a post-recovery test for you guys. I'll be proceeding with a protocol that was first conceived by Dr. Thiago Bianco for densely packed hair transplants. This protocol is about taking vasodilators after the hair transplant, which essentially is microdosing Cialis and Viagra, 2.5mg of each every day. I strongly believe that this will aid the hair transplant results and result in complete yield. I've just returned from Turkey and have already begun the post hair transplant recovery process.

Background

Hair transplants were never on my radar until I began a job that provides a decent income. Recently, hair transplants have occupied my thoughts quite frequently. I decided to go with Dr. Turan since I haven't come across any unfavorable results associated with him.

The waitlist was my biggest concern, as I heard he has a waitlist that could be from 4 to 8 months. Therefore, when I contacted the FUECAPILAR team, I immediately communicated that I was prepared to proceed at any date given a two week notice, considering I live in Latvia and Turkey is just a three-hour flight away. Fortunately, I was able to secure a date close to two weeks away. It seems Dr. Turan had an opening, which is precisely what I had hoped for! 🥂

Medication

Regarding medication, three years ago, when I was 26, I experienced diffuse thinning around the temple area. It was quite depressing when I noticed it, and I immediately started using finasteride, minoxidil, microneedling, and now topical caffeine. It appears I am a good responder to the medication, as I was able to restore my hair to a condition similar to my pre-hair loss days.

In most cases, I can style my hair to look ok. However, I still have limited options when it comes to my hairstyle. For instance, for a G-Eazy slick-back style with longer hair, I couldn't make it work because I couldn't conceal my temples 😄 Given that I'm active on social media, a hair transplant seemed like a very good option.

Day after HT

I like the new hairline. My temple peaks were filled in properly, which was an important detail I mentioned during the hairline design. So far, I've encountered no issues in the recovery phase 🔥🔥

Its an interesting experiment but also difficult to draw conclusions from since you don't have any kind of control case.

You're relatively young and don't have aggressive loss. You're also taking medication (minox) that you may be an excellent responder to.

So even without the cocktail of other drugs you are quite likely to have a good result....

I understand, @BackFromTheBrink

The Dr. Thiago Bianco protocol is more for my personal reasons, and for a strong placebo effect, which is a real thing. It will also be much easier for me mentally, so that I believe truly that the result will be a success.

Though I've seen cases where young people have had transplants and use minoxidil, yet still don't achieve the results they desire.

Looking good! I don't think you would need Viagra and Cialis, thought. The placebo effect is real, but a placebo effect will not do anything for your hair. Minoxidil is surely enough. I was transplanted at 85 grafts per cm2, and my surgeon didn't mention these drugs at all, so I don't think its truly needed. But hey, at least you'll be on the safe side :)

Happy growing. Dr turan is a great doctor I’m sure you will be satisfied with your result.
what was the cost for the 2431 grafts ?

Also from which day after your hair transplant are you going to get viagra and cialis at 2.5mg each and how long you will be taking these drugs ?

Hahahaa

I have an issue of being super horny from finasteride (uncontrollable lust and desire for sex) which while fun is annoying. Imagine adding daily viagra to that, we aren’t prnstars doing a scene lol

But yeah man, like others said you’re an ideal hair transplant case. Small area of loss, you’re on Minoxidil which is a strong hair growth stimulant. You’re going to have good early growth.

If you want to assess viagra though then don’t use Minoxidil. The only vasodilation that will happen AFTER minoxidil dilates them enough is in other parts of the body.

In fact, I wouldn’t recommend this at all. Viagra itself can be dangerous due to its vasodilation and Minoxidil is a dangerous vasodilator too. You might get serious low blood pressure or some heart problem. Not a good combination.

I appreciate the concern, @Turkhair.

Cialis and Viagra come in various dosages, usually 60mg, and personally, I've always tolerated them well, both Cialis and Viagra. In the protocol, the dosage is much less - 2.5mg. I barely feel the effects and am already growing tolerant to it quickly.

Thanks, @Belve! The cost was 3500€, and as for the protocol, I started using Cialis and Viagra the day after the surgery. I plan to continue taking 2.5mg of Cialis and Viagra every day for three months, as Dr. Thiago Bianco recommended.

Two weeks have passed since my surgery. For the first ten days, my donor area was tender and I experienced a throbbing pain, had to use painkillers throughout. Now, the pain has subsided. Also, I'm slowly regaining sensation in the transplanted hair. Although it's faint and not consistent throughout the area, I can now feel a sensation when I brush the hair, something I didn't experience in the first week.

Turan personally handles the graft implantation. I was impressed with the angles of the grafts, they all aligned with mine. However, the extractions are performed by technicians. As I've mentioned before, the cost is 3.5k EUR.

Interesting theory, I know @Fue3361 had pills compounded with Cialis. To me, it makes a lot of sense. Any fear of getting ED from medication would be squashed. Plus, increased blood flow should theoretically help with healing and growth. I don’t know why someone hasn’t thought about this more.

@Fue3361

Thank you! Your kind words mean a lot.

Honestly you're an inspiration from this forum. I've gone through both of your HT threads, and you experienced the ideal hair transplant journey, rivaled only by @TorontoMan. It's awesome that you're still around. Truly, legend.

Always lurking haha.  Don't have much to report on my own case as it's pretty much done.  But enjoy seeing everyone else's progress, and giving my own take on things when something interesting pops up.

First Month Update:

I experienced minimal shedding, retaining about 60% of my grafts. I attribute this to maintaining my grafts in a perpetual anagen phase by applying topical minoxidil starting from the second day post-surgery. However, I wouldn't advise this for everyone. Not all minoxidil users see hair regrowth, which is believed to be due to individual differences in converting minoxidil to its active form, minoxidil sulfate. I've also taken a high dosage of oral minoxidil, above standard recommendations, so I won't specify the amount to discourage someone following this crazy protocol.

Planning to continue with 2.5mg of Cialis & Viagra for the next two months. So far, I've encountered no side effects.

Looking good mate, though, you should probably hold off on smoking. It can constrict blood vessels and slow growth.

Month 3:

More baby hairs are beginning to pop up sporadically. The first two months passed relatively quickly, but the third month felt much longer. I found myself checking for new hair growth daily.

This month, I'm also starting to gradually reduce my Cialis dosage, skipping days until I'm completely off it. I anticipate more hair follicles will become visible, as the comparison with postoperative pictures indicates there's progress to be made.

Overall, the progress appears to be on track for the third month.

Month 4 | No More Widow's Peak!

I did not think for such growth as early as the fourth month. Finally, I ditched the hat, and going outside with styled hair is a relief. I started microneedling, once a week at a depth of 1.5 mm, starting in the second month. I am waiting for further growth in months 7 and 8, as I continue to see sprouting of new, baby hairs.

Photographs were taken on day 8 of the MONTH 4
