Hello all. So I'm now just over the 2 month mark since my 2nd surgery (9 weeks to be exact). I've just had my 1st proper hair cut since the procedure so I thought I would post pics to show how things are progressing.

The ugly duckling phase was very short this time because obviously I had a good base following my 1st surgery. So far I'm happy with the outcome and looking forward to it thickening up and growing nice and long again (I'm missing the long locks already!).

These photos were taken in favourable lighting so bare that in mind.

Someone mentioned this earlier but just to reiterate, your first procedure looked so flawless. This seems like a reinforcement of the previous work but almost not necessary.

What was it specifically that bugged you about the first pass? I'm going to assume it was something not translating well with your pictures. Was it density along the line? Softening the temple points?

The issue was symmetry for me. The centre point wasn't central and one side of the hairline was slightly higher than the other. The 2nd procedure has solved this issue for me and also increased density throughout so I'm very happy and I'm only around the 4 month mark so still improvements to come.

I will update some better pictures next week but I took one recently which i feel shows the improvement in symmetry well (attached).

After seeing your 2 threads, i can say that you look like someone who has never experienced hairloss and you still have months of growth left ? btw this hairstyles suits you so well due to second surgery. i can understand symmetry point that you made. When you keep hairstyles which show your hairline, you need symmetry.

Ok so I'm now approaching the 6 month mark and all I can say is that I am VERY happy with the results. The 2nd transplant has achieved near perfect symmetry and the density is fantastic. I would recommend to anyone getting a HT to get a 2nd one because it puts the iceing on the cake.

great results so far and those white hair in sides are giving a great look with this hairstyle.

also a request that if possbile can you add a pic with outdoor lighting, probably next time. i am sure nearly 4k grafts in hairline will make it look incredibly dense but just wanted to see how they look in outdoor condition currently at 6 months mark.

HOLY SH*T! I completely forgot about your transformation. Insane! One of the bets results I've seen on this forum!

What is your current hair loss prevention!

I started Oral Minoxidil about 3 months after my 2nd transplant. Other than that I just take vitamins.

Looks great.

Just to play devils advocate here, it will look great whatever hairstyle you have, but i think it actually looked best as a buzzcut. A slightly longer one. Suits your face and makes the jawline pop and kinda gives you a 'tough guy' look combined with the tattoos (in a good way).

Hello gents.

Just an update at the circa 12 month mark. All well my end - very happy with the results. This is a selection of photos taken over the past couple of months (not for hair purposes).

My hair has gotten pretty long now (final photo) but I’m planning on cutting it slightly shorter back to the length in the other photos (about an inch off the top).

Nice hairline !!

congratulations brother

Anyway you spent 3850 graft in total ?

From Norwood 2 hairline to non balding hairline

yes - It was 3850 grafts across the 2 procedures.

I was a Norwood 3V according to my doc.
