Currently on Oral Finasteride, which improved my Crown.. Regular Member MildSeven Posted June 6, 2023 Author Regular Member Share Posted June 6, 2023 (edited) First day surgery went well partially done with 1032 Grafts today finally total grafts needed is 2729 grafts was quoted 2200 before but i want my hairline 0.5cm lower so hairline and temple took around 2500-2504 grafts and 225 grafts will be implanted to the crown area to improve its density… will update some picture soon once i back to my home country eugenix’s staff are very friendly Dr. priya das also comes to see me accompanying my main doctor, Dr. Vinita Dr. Vinita has good sense of humor helps me to relive my fear and anxiety.. Regular Member MildSeven Posted June 14, 2023 Author Regular Member Share Posted June 14, 2023 (edited) Pre-OP I Stayed At Hotel Where 100 Meter Next to Eugenix, i could reach eugenix By on foot effortless Reached at clinic sharp 9AM The Reception Was Friendly and offer me welcome Drink Then Some Technicians Met Me then guided me to go upstairs i was having Pre OP Check up and i was very nervous at the moment (i was sweating in cold air coditioned room) anesthetic alergy test, Blood Clotting Test, and BP Check... my BP was high as well as my heart rate was racing lol (BP 150/100, then my heartrate 130 BPM) the Dr Monalisa Came to calm me down and give me Amlodipin tablet i was more nervous than before, this was my first surgery for my entire Life, never had any before.... Then Dr. Vinita (my Surgeon) came to greet me and she drew hairline the first hairline drawn was around 2200 graft include temple, and 7,5 Cm height from glabella i asked Dr. Vinita if she could make it lower to 7 cm, she agreed to make it 7 Cm (it suits better to me), my parents also agree 7cm is better (i was video calling my parents) Dr. Vinita said it would be around 2500 grafts not 2200 anymore, then i asked her to do some for my crown... she said it's and optional... then she called dr. Priya Das and discussed together, Dr. Das said 200 grafts is enough to touch up my crown... so the total Graft is 2700 Grafts.. then did some pre op photoshoot, Shave my long hair, then headwash.... Regular Member MildSeven Posted June 14, 2023 Author Regular Member Share Posted June 14, 2023 (edited) Surgery Day (6th June) in Operation Room Dr. Vinita Started to Make Open slits on my scap... and talking to me... ask about my country and else... then i told dr vinita that i take finasteride MWFS (monday wednesday Friday Sunday) 0.5mg each... Then she surprised then bit dissapointed.. "sshhh, why didnt you tell me earlier ?, i thought you're taking full dosage" "you should take at least 4mg / per week, if you do, we dont need any work for your crown" "sorry doctor" i said once all slit have been opened, the technician and nurse enter the room to give me anesthetic shot... which very minimal pain (good job) then lunch for break after lunch a senior technician, if im not wrong his name is Shuzant.. started extracting grafts from my donor... then implanting to my recipient area helped by junior technician to handover graft from graft sorter (classifying single, double and multiple grafts) they work very smoothly, like factory machine... lol... at 5 PM 1032 Grafts has Been implanted, the technician teams asked doctor to break, and continue tomorrow... that was good thing, so they dont work under pressure... i agree.... then eugenix driver took me back to hotel... Vinita said so "you are look much better today" during the surgery Dr. Vinita and Dr. Priya Das Come and Go to Control the technician and asked my how do i feel.. all was good nothing's bad Around 2:30 PM the work is done, they gave my lunch... then took some post op photos Post Op team gave me some medicine and instruction what to do... after that driver took me back to hotel... No need to use lot of grafts there for 1st surgery. good decision as i can see existing hair there in post-op pics. with your long hair its tough to see pre-op pics of crown. (i checked your other thread and they look fine.. they had a thinning look) coming to hairline, Design is pretty good (think its the standard one that they provide and it looks great with that new temple of yours). the hairline will go well with your long hairstyle too if you wish to keep them long again. good luck for new hair ! happy growing. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
