This patient stopped by for a follow-up visit. Matt took the usual front, sides, top angle pics, but he took few more shots with hair combed back and forward to show density better.

 

Surgery in March of '09

 

Graft/Hair Breakdown:

Total - 1567 Grafts = 2947 Hairs

1's - 395

2's - 964

3's - 208

Thanks for the sharing the pics Janna. I just can't believe that's a transplanted hairline! Looks absolutely natural. I don't see even one slight recipient incision mark.

Thanks guys!

 

The patient is very happy. He has great growth for 8 months. Dr. Ron won't be the only Shapiro who is recognized for his hairlines. Dr. Paul is really producing great results.

Dr. Paul estimated the area covered to be around 30cm2 since we worked mainly in the corners. We do not measure the area worked or the density on each patient....just when patient requests it or there is a purpose for documenting. We generally plant (when appropriate) the density in the front to about 45 to 55 grafts per cm2. Based on this patient's total graft count and the area worked, he received around 50 grafts per cm2.
