  1. Thanks BigBill and Christine. I apologize for the blurriness of a couple of the photos. Dr. Arocha truly made the best of a bad situation - complete recognition to him for his efforts in repairing me. If only I had known about him earlier...
  2. Updated one year results from Dr. Arocha. Pretty happy overall. 1850 grafts in a difficult revision (2 failed procedures in the 90's) - probably do another session at some point.
  3. I don't like this plan but hopefully it works.
  4. If that hasn't been cultured, it needs to be cultured immediately. You may have MRSA. Also if it is some exuberant granulation, it can be cauterized with silver nitrate to reduce the granulation formation. Something is not right and just simple observation won't cut it.
  5. I don't think politics belong on a hair restoration forum. Having said that, Obama is bankrupting our country.
  6. Primum non nocere. Future patients, do not let anyone do this to you. You are playing with fire here.
  7. Excellent results. Tilt towards coverage vs. density with his hair characteristics turned out great.
  8. It mentions being implemented for hair transplantation in 6/05 but the actual technique has been used in browlifts and other cosmetic procedures for much longer than that.
  9. It's been around much longer than that on the order of 15 years or more. Just more popular recently.
  10. You'd be wasting your money going to a trichologist/dermatologist. All they would say is "you're losing your hair." There's no blood test for male pattern baldness. If it's telogen effluvium the hair should have grown back already. That's a one to two month phenomenon - it's bene six for you right. Other medical conditions like alopecia areata lead to bald circle patches on your head which you don't have. Medical conditions such as hyperthyroidism can cause hair loss - so see a family doc for a simple blood test to rule that out. Some medications used for gout/arthritis/heart problems can cause hair loss - I doubt you have those problems. So get on meds ASAP.
  11. Congrats TE and great outlook. You should be much more improved after the 2nd.
  12. I'm very interested to watch. Hopefully technical bugs are worked out prior to next webcast.
  13. If you don't know the difference between FUT and FUE, then that's a problem right there. The doctor should have explained that to you.
  14. Agree with all the above especially the tie-in to your temple points.
