Regular Member Wicky Posted January 15, 2022 Regular Member Share Posted January 15, 2022 (edited) Hey Everyone! Finally got my Hair transplant done at Eugenix and would like to share my 5 month update. Quick over view for people that dont know. 1-14 days post op is healing and waiting to be able to wash your scabs of (Eugenix tells you to at 10 days) 14 days begin shedding 1 Month, completely shed and red 2 months, nothing 3 months, nothing (unless you are lucky) 4 months should start regrowth that's usually the timeline I'm sure someone will try and debate me on it though. As far as review of the clinic everything went well. traveling during covid (all the documents, testing etc.) was the worst part. besides that everything went smoothly. only thing I want to add is that Eugenix is a value clinic. I was treated with a lot of care and respect but just note they are there to do a job and like the ball to roll fast. other than that i have no comments everything was perfect. I tried to take everything in either harsh/different lighting to get a good contrast but im still growing so i don't think it makes too much of a difference. once its complete ill do the same and show the difference. Question how does the last picture look? that is the right side donor area and i think it may either have shockless or have been over harvested, what are your thoughts? My breakdown was 1670 Front 470 Crown Right temple 48 Left 50 Me before fin (22 years old) Post Fin (24-25 yrs) I dont think I had much regrowth with fin but I definitely had my hairs thicken. During HT 1 Month 3 Months 4 Months - Where the fun Starts 5 Months I am no where near done yet but this is a great start! Thanks everyone Edited January 15, 2022 by Wicky pick in wrong spot

Regular Member johnto Posted January 16, 2022 Regular Member Share Posted January 16, 2022 I'll never understand why clinics don't spread out their extraction sites more? I hate when they keep it in a confined area like that and you end up seeing a halo in the area.
Senior Member kirkland Posted January 16, 2022 Senior Member Share Posted January 16, 2022 That hairline is quite natural. It's a perfect soft transition into the density behind - like a good tree line into a forest. The angles are great, too. Good job by the whole surgical team, from the angles of the premade slits to choosing the right grafts for the hairline.

digi23
Was there any reason why the midscalp was left untouched? Since you had as much thinning there as in the crown. Hairline looks good, crown will take longer to see.

Looking back now I could've afforded it lol im very conservative with money. Yep i agree! ill probably go back for a touch up anyways as long as im happy with the result Edited January 16, 2022 by Wicky
Regular Member Wicky Posted January 16, 2022 Author Regular Member Share Posted January 16, 2022 (edited) I would say 15-20 mintues. really was quick. she gave me an initial, I suggested it be somewhat more recessed and that we fill in the temples as well. she agreed and drew it to my liking 1 hour ago, follically challenged said: Looks great, man! Yeah, i guess it's like a time-saving process, i dunno? H&W seem to spread their extraction pattern out way more from what i remember

Kevinbakinz
Hairline looks soft and natural. What a great job by Eugenix and Arika Bansal and her team. Senior Member Ryan Daniel Posted January 16, 2022 Senior Member Share Posted January 16, 2022 Fantastic work for just a few months. That is definitely going to end up being a very soft hairline with enough density! Keep us updated 😃

Nope! it also was at the height of Delta out break so maybe that affected their timing. I was talking to them told them what month I wanted and they obliged.

Regular Member Goat Posted January 17, 2022 Regular Member Share Posted January 17, 2022 I would also like to transplant my hair at Eugenix. but i found out that dr arika transplants up to 400 hairs and the rest is done by the technicals. was that ok for you? did you feel that the quality was high?
