Any success/horror stories on oral Mixodiil? (Non responder to topical minoxidil)

Currently taking 1 mg of finasteride and 0.5 mg of dutasitirde. Thinking of adding oral minoxidil but have heard some horror shedding stories on the drug. Anyone have any solid growth?

Would love to hear from the community.

I take about 2.5 mg of oral min per week, no sides. I didn't experience shedding either, my arm hair and body hair seem to grow a lot faster too. My hair looks healthy, can't say it's grown anything back, but definitely maintaining it.

Interesting. So you take 2.5 mg weekly? I thought the dosage was 2.5 mg daily?

Melvin do u take only oral Mixodiil 2.5 mg per week?

I'm on 2.5mg and have noticed lower diastolic blood pressure and slight ankle swelling. I'm assuming it has helped my hair somewhat but it's impossible to say for sure.

I take 1 mg per day, and I take it about 2-3 days per week, so roughly 2.5-3mg per week.

Nice. I'm thinking about hopping on it but reading the horror stories of the shed is scaring me. Have you exp a shed while jumping on oral minoxidil?

Never noticed a shed on any treatment I've taken. I don't pay attention to hairs going down the drain though

I've been taking 5mg per day for about 12 days now. So far no sides or any progress that I can see. Normal amount of shedding, nothing alarming.

I am guessing it takes a while (a few months at least) before any sort of results?

How come you only take 2.5mg weekly? Did you start on that dose? Or did you have to reduce your daily dose?

I went all in with Oral minoxidil. I've been drinking 10mg kirkland liquid a day (5mg twice) for nearly 4 months. No negative side effects I've noticed. My shedding has reduced drastically. Also slight hypertrichosis

Insane, also drinked 2x0.1ml and had heavy swelling in the face, taper down again to 0.5mg
