  1. Only been taking for around 3 weeks now so way to early to say but obviously the shedding is alot right now. The topical was messing up my already inflamed scalp
  2. I had to visit a dermatologist that dealt with hairloss specifically and believed in oral minoxidil as a treatment
  3. I had to see a dermatologist that believes in oral minoxidil as a treatment. Couldn’t find many place that would prescribe me it. Nor could I find any sites that sold it
  4. How come you only take 2.5mg weekly? Did you start on that dose? Or did you have to reduce your daily dose?
  5. Yeh I’m hoping it will work, usually when the inflammation get worse or flares up it comes with oily skin, All over my scalp/face. Let’s see how it goes. Was looking for something more natural for the inflammation and came across magnesium oil so I might give that a go also.
  6. How did you fight the inflammation? Did it just got away in its own?
  7. I was using topical since around 17 years old and stopped around 21 and the started back up for a year before stopping again. I’m 23 years old now. Sides wise so far I haven’t had anything. I’m pretty hairy already so more body hair isn’t that bad for me. But all the other sides I haven’t really had yet. I’ll definitely keep you guys updated!
  8. I haven’t actually, it could be worth a try. I just got a little bugged out since using the finasteride. You have any experience with topical anti androgens?
  9. Hi, hope you lot are well! After about a year or searching I found a dermatologist that would prescribe me oral minoxidil. He advised me to start with 1.25mg for the first month and then 2.5mg there on. Im looking to start a new regime, I’ve previously used finasteride and got every side effect you could think of Aswell as a lump in my breast so that’s not a option for me anymore. Also, I’ll be using nizoral 3x a week to try fight any inflammation. I feel like I’m not doing enough to keep the hair I have I Was wondering what Else i could use? when I visited the dermatologist he had a look at my scalp and said there was “diffuse redness with no perifollicular exacerbation and there is no significant scale.” He prescribed me a 0.1% tacrolimus topical to help with the possible inflammation. Once I did a bit of research it said a side effect of the drug was hairloss and thinning. Was wondering if any of you guys have knowledge about this? Any reccomdations would be great. Thank you guys!
  10. Hi dr, I haven’t had it check but it’s a good idea to. I saw their adverts on tv and assumed they was legit but that’s not always the case
  11. I’ve been using nizoral every couple of days. I might use something like baby shampoo on the other days. I thought it would be legit, seen all the adverts in tv so I would have guess it was all above board but it’s definitely a good idea to get it analysed and see what exactly is in it. Thanks for the help man.
  12. It’s called getfreshmans.com I thought the 0.05 twice a day was that standard?
  13. Thought as much! Thanks very much
  14. I had a hair transplant around 7 months ago, it’s looking decent. The crown is a bit thin still even though I had hair implanted. But that is done now. I want to start using my new topical but I believe I have some scalp inflammation, the skin isn’t red but feels a bit itchy, sore sometimes and wondering if I was okay to use it? Would this aggregate my hairloss even more? I’m a diffuse thinner. Hoping I can thicken up the hair after that transplant and keep as much of my native hair at possible. Bit lost in what to do so any help would be great. Thanks guys.
  15. I will try get in with a dermatologist ASAP. Thanks
