Dear Community,

I am pleased to announce @Dr. Patrick Mwamba of Brussels Belgium has rejoined our network and the Coalition. His work with @mustang and @captaincalico is a testament of his skill and experience. He is a specialist in afro hair FUE, hair transplant repair, BHT, and donor farming.

Dr. Mwamba has a clinic in Atlanta, Georgia, he goes every few weeks, where he assists another surgeon whom he has trained. Personally, I cannot wait to do an Instagram Live with Dr. Mwamba, there are so many questions I have related to donor farming and the myriad of topical medications he has on his site FUEclinic.com. I believe he is the only surgeon performing dutasteride and mesotherapy injections from his offices in Belgium and Atlanta. I'm very pleased and excited to have Dr. Mwamba back on board with our community.

Below is his profile:

That's fantastic new Melvin. We are lucky to now have Dr Mwamba on board! 🙏

Above his skill and decades of experience, he is extremely ethical and compassionate surgeon. His patients sing his praises, I place him amongst the elites.

I would definitely agree with that Melvin!

Good to see someone with the pedigree of Mwamba being added to the list. Hopefully we keep seeing more and more patient reviews of his on here, because he really is one of the OG European names and he has kind of been in the shadows for a while now mostly just due to a lack of online presence it seems.

I saw that mattdominance is now his patient advisor/online social media or marketing sort of guy - seems like a good move.

I don't know if he's an advisor of his, he may be working with him to promote him online, but his official rep is someone else who will be creating an account shortly for the clinic. I think it's fair to say that Matt's previous results with the Turkish hair mill was bad. Dr. Mwamba completely softened his hairline and did an excellent repair. I just wish Matt highlighted the fact that he made a mistake and showed others to not follow in his footsteps of going to a mill. He could've avoided the entire thing had he chosen a surgeon like Mwamba in the first place.

Yes I've watched quite a lot of Matt Dominance's videos on his hair and beard transplants from Turkey. I've often posted on his YouTube channel if he is being financially remunerated by anyone or receiving any other incentives and he always refuses to comment. The only comments that I do receive are from his followers which I can promise you are not very complimentary! 🤣 I just believe in full transparency and disclosure in this industry. I have nothing against him personally BTW.

Yeah, I don't know what his official role is for him, but either way it seems like a good move to have someone with a decent online presence to handle the online direction side of things and get the clinic's name out there a bit. People in YouTube comments often also have no idea what is a good clinic or not, so having them pointed towards Mwamba can only be a good thing.

I don't watch too many of his videos as I also didn't like that he used to promote or push (at least somewhat) some terrible clinics such as the one he originally went to in Turkey, but that was a while ago and it seems as though he has since become fairly competent about HT's/clinics and now does say that his original job was not good at all and needed repairing etc.

This is fantastic news to hear @Melvin- Moderator

Based on my research Dr. Mwamba is one of the best in the world for repairs and donor restocking. Is there anyway to get in direct contact with him or his representatives on this site? I'm trying to get in contact with him so I can get a repair from my botched Cinik transplant and would like to do it with Dr. Mwamba.

Yes, I will have his representative respond to this thread once he creates the account. He is definitely one of the best in donor restocking and repairs.

I agree with you. I actually like Matt, think he's a good guy, he made a poor choice, but has definitely done enough research to get it fixed. I'm fairly certain he lurks on this forum and others.  He's got a large following and having him push new patients to someone like Mwamba is definitely a good thing, as opposed to the previous clinic.

Please please let me know when that happens. I sent them an email back in May I believe they told me to wait 6 more months to see the full results before I consult them for a repair, so this Friday marks that 6 month wait, as I'm planning to get my repair done with Dr. Mwamba.

Thank you so much Melvin!! You have no idea how much of a nightmare my hair transplant experience has been. The only hope I really have is Dr. Mwamba. All the hairs are in the wrong angles, sticking up, sticking out, my hair line is made up of all doubles and triples, poor coverage and density, my donor is thinned out... These months have been just really brutal on me mentally to be honest. I'm really hoping Dr. Mwamba fix this. I will be sure to document everything in a new thread.

Yes, he was a part of the forum, but left due to the pandemic.

Yes, they are done by the surgeon he trained, though, he assists and supervises the procedure.

He did most of the work when I went there I would’ve never accepted otherwise.

Matt took the video down about working with Mwamba so I don’t think they are doing anything together…

Good to know, though I believe Dr. Bridges is being primed to be the head surgeon. That said, Dr. Mwamba is very involved either way.

Yes he’s here all the way, they basically take one side each for extraction and then mwamba does the incisions and again they take one side each for the implantation of the grafts.
