Hey guys here is the one year update. Would be curious what everyone thinks? There are some things I love like the naturalness. And some things I’m not in love with. I still think it’s a big improvement from where I began! Very grateful to SMG for that.  ACDD9476-1FCC-4494-9CFD-D2C31DFD20A9.thumb.jpeg.c5c341861d685cf74eecf673999dfd54.jpeg47F79D39-0E4A-47C3-B60E-0DAF9C0D364D.thumb.jpeg.b029c82f43706cc6f3e2165b49130ff7.jpeg8FC5874D-ABD1-4F6E-8A48-46295AA59EA5.thumb.jpeg.c57d3dde0b8c6604468e78c56531022a.jpegC398BAE5-475D-407F-B592-01E6EF87C836.thumb.jpeg.5845f9d64cd5950d56c6497b59a22d27.jpegADE1DE33-309C-4D90-8BD0-D44DA696E986.thumb.jpeg.2226adec9140ff6045cf4ab35d1c0090.jpeg8C1AB594-3CB1-456D-A491-6EC205053E6D.thumb.jpeg.85fce9ef866752b218311a5b396e85db.jpegF5F369F0-BA05-4421-AA62-C147886A3152.thumb.jpeg.079b71789c8f1942d5208fd784016038.jpeg6F479E48-C8E9-4520-94E5-0351C715A6C9.thumb.jpeg.8588a82b0a25c32dce93f261edc6231c.jpegE6D0E8AA-3065-45B1-9CFA-4AF89E760D86.thumb.jpeg.ecd5b012b5e0cf48efe93bfcac3d5703.jpegAEB18B65-2BCD-428B-8533-7CCE78F8A89B.thumb.jpeg.1597432ef8a7b458db657d62dc7eadd1.jpeg6278AFBB-8A90-497A-A209-D87E2C709D7C.thumb.jpeg.2b7f9bd9cc08541391466273fc3437c2.jpeg

I made a little before and after comparison for ya! 🙂

Definitely some great improvement to feel positive about! Do you have any pics of your hair at the current length prior to the procedure to compare as well?  Also, what is it you're not as in love with you would like to improve further?  Thanks for sharing!

Good improvement for sure. Are you gonna get the mid scalp done?

No doubt I have another transplant or two in my future. However I’m not planning on getting another one anytime soon. I can still “get away with it” in mid scalp and crown with fibers. I’ll wait it out as long as I can and see how things progress. I’m definitely happy right now!

Thanks! I’ll check and see if I have some pics. As far as what I’m not in love with I’d say it’s still fairly noticeable that the density/growth on the left side is way better than the right side. Also, the hairline shape that was a slight concern at the beginning. All and all though I’m happy with the result! No doubt about that and no regrets going with SMG.

Based on the pictures, this is a huge improvement. You could probably undergo a second surgery if you really want to pack/fill things in. However, this looks like a great result to me and is super natural. Congrats!

Thanks for the update, looking good! But I do see what you mean about wanting a potential 2nd procedure in the future, still it's a solid improvement!

Have you had your procedure with SMG yet?

Hey I can send some pics for sure. Coming up on almost two years. No improvements or anything. Mainly trying to hold on to what I have!

Thanks for popping back in! Looking forward to the update, as I'm sure everyone else is!

Hey guys wanted to provide a 2 year update with pictures. I included different lighting and also some pics from a 0 fade I received today to show scarring for anyone wanting to see fue scars. Also pics highlighting weaker spots. All in all though still believe I improved my look!

I’ve lost a little bit of ground overall. Honestly really struggling with finasteride side effects. The oral version works best but get the worst sides. I’m currently micro dosing a topical fin/min product from Dr. Yaker in Texas. I know there are more transplants in my future but currently trying to see where my loss is heading and evaluating best options over the next several years. IMG_8311.thumb.jpeg.b66100adb10518e76c69ea8bec1967f9.jpegIMG_8313.thumb.jpeg.e840ff8ceabf64d8fb6a72874b3e8f5f.jpegIMG_8314.thumb.jpeg.2b968965089246bda0e9d22a6fc83376.jpegIMG_8316.thumb.jpeg.e0e8084479c1cd19149276697b6b7e19.jpegIMG_8328.thumb.jpeg.c68db275e758fe0f0391fb934b8f1909.jpegIMG_8326.thumb.jpeg.c9669d1d4b89fe07f0c7db5a6d8774cc.jpegIMG_8329.thumb.jpeg.047045c0827ba8355d577828f59bbdde.jpegIMG_8413.thumb.jpeg.a1c28198dff8c4362fc345ce815b1fae.jpegIMG_8417.thumb.jpeg.9fce564a40d7bc7d63b446cbb8ba0a4f.jpegIMG_8421.thumb.jpeg.827bc64af5ed0b4cfc5c10e222b29b97.jpeg

Looks solid, I think it’s pretty much the same. Have you tried oral min?

I have not yet! I’m definitely interested in trying it… Would like to see some more results and studies showing that it’s superior to topical.
