I assume this is also on the right side as well, but I could be wrong as I myself only experienced shock loss on one donor side. I had a very similar donor issue and it’s still a little thinner at 8 months on the side like yours but when I grow out to a 4-6 guard now it’s not noticeable so I think your will also recover. It’s coming along nicely tho and u should have some nice gains coming soon! I just checked and your right on! Very similar to your 4 month photos. I’m hopeful that it is shock and will recover. My hair was considerably thinner behind my ears before the surgery so hopefully it wasn’t over harvested. Had some time today to snap some photos with hair grown out. Had some definite improvement since my last update! I have some photos in natural lighting and under bathroom lights. Right now the left side of my hair line is significantly stronger and more dense than the right. I’ve always heard Melvin say slow and steady wind the race. As far as how I see myself, it is probably in the middle between the pics. I definitely need more growth in some area’s to be able to achieve that illusion of density and call it a good result 👍. I switched to Dr. Hasson’s topical fin from Strut’s do to side effect issues. I know switching like that can cause sheds but I’m hopeful this helps. So far so good actually. One slightly funny note is that the front third is now growing significantly faster and longer than my crappy miniaturizing hair in back half. So I may have to get a little creative ha. I definitely believe I have had some maturing of the hair which has helped the result fill in. The right side of the hairline is still significantly thinner than the left I’d say. Overall I can say at this point that I am happy with the result! Not ready to call it a home run. Still have some time to call it a home run though! We will see.
