Senior Member makehairgreatagain Posted April 7, 2021 Senior Member Share Posted April 7, 2021 This stuff is really good and healthy. Probably one of the cleanest out there. https://www.vitalproteins.com/products/collagen-peptides#
Senior Member PizzaWolf Posted April 8, 2021 Senior Member Share Posted April 8, 2021 Unfortunately, I don't believe that ingesting collagen will increase your body's production of it. I think that Tretinoin for its potential to improve localized production in your skin (not controversial) and increasing your growth hormone/ IGF-1 levels (controversial) are effective. I've heard of Vital, that and SR seem to be very popular brand names.

Thanks PW, I've never heard of Tretinoin, I'll have to look into that one. What are the positive effects you've noticed from using Tretinoin ? At least that's what they claim. When you were using it did you notice any of the above ?
Senior Member WhiteyUK Posted April 9, 2021 Senior Member Share Posted April 9, 2021 I take a Collagen supplement, think it’s more on improving with skin and scalp rather than the hair itself. The way I see it, even if it helps only 1% it’s worth it, worse case scenario I’ll have nice skin 😀
Regular Member Crickhair Posted May 5, 2021 Regular Member Share Posted May 5, 2021 I used to. I didn't notice any major changes in my hair but my skin.
