Senior Member Westview Posted April 15, 2021 Author Senior Member Share Posted April 15, 2021 (edited) Month 6 update. You can see that the hairs that popped a couple of months ago have now matured, and the hair is starting to look more wavy. I got 6 more months of growth left. I'm reasonably happy so far 🙂 In better light Edited April 15, 2021 by Westview

Senior Member SLA Posted April 15, 2021 Senior Member Share Posted April 15, 2021 Looks great and your white hair on pale scalp makes for a great illusion of density. Lots more growing yet to come!

Senior Member SLA Posted May 17, 2021 Senior Member Share Posted May 17, 2021 On both @Westview. Improvements are slight since month 6, but are there. It is an 18 month journey so hang tight. Throw a few fibers or dermmatch in there and it would look super full; although if interested, might want to ask your HT doctor and/or do research to see if fibers might negatively affect transplant growth. I don't think they do, but don't want to give you wrong info! Happy growing!

Administrators Melvin- Admin Posted June 16, 2021 Administrators Share Posted June 16, 2021 Have you tried to grow your hair longer. Senior Member Westview Posted June 23, 2021 Author Senior Member Share Posted June 23, 2021 (edited) There is precedent for hair growing slower after your 2nd HT. Dr. Bernstein even reported on it: https://www.bernsteinmedical.com/answers/hair-growth-with-a-second-transplant/ Does Hair Grow More Slowly After a Second or After a First Hair Transplant? August 24th, 2005 Q: This is my second hair transplant and is seems like it is growing more slowly than my first. Is this normal? – J.D., Port Washington, N.Y. A: It is common for a second hair transplant to take a bit longer to grow than the first, so this should be expected. It is also possible that there is some shedding from the procedure, or a continuation of your genetic hair loss. Propecia may be helpful in this regard. It is important to wait at least a year for the transplant to grow in fully and to give a chance for any hair that was shed to regrow Edited June 23, 2021 by Westview
