3,500 graft FUE - Dr. Jones in Oakville, Canada.

I am at 4 months now.  Surgery was in October of 2020.

He was one of the few doctors in Toronto who wasnt afraid to do an FUE on my grey hair.

Doctors who declined me were Dr. Cotterrill and Dr. Ashlin Alexander

About 2 weeks after my surgery

On a scale of 1 to 10, how good is my growth at the 4-month mark??

I don't pass judgement on growth at 4 months. Plenty examples of guys with almost no growth at 4 months. There was a recent case posted by @firstFUT slow and steady wins the race.

Do you have any pictures of your donor area? maybe some different angles of the front and side to have an overall better understanding.

It's hard with the quality of pictures that have been uploaded to have a clear picture of how things went down in my opinion.

Yes one, but I didnt get much growth.

Thats why I'm so excited to see this early growth and yet none of you guys seem to think its good growth at all.

You're certainly not giving it compliments, thats for sure.  Thats not a good sign ☹️

I see improvements from months 2-4 so hang tight.  Light hair on light skin are favorable characteristics.

I like the style of your hair just sticking straight up. Similar to the style I want.

I was under the impression that Dr. Jones had retired and had a younger surgeon take over his practice. Good to see that he is still in the game. Also good to see that he is doing mega session FUE's as he has traditionally had a more conservative approach in the number of grafts he would transplant in a single session.

Good luck over the next few months.

You mean Dr. Huber??  He currently works alongside him. I think he started off as his apprentice, but he hasnt taken over his entire practice yet.  I assume that'll happen at some point though as Dr. Jones is pushing 60 and probably wants to retire soon

I'll be following this closely. What was the $ per graft he charged? HST as well?

$6 per graft for FUE.  I dont know what he charges for FUT

Month 5 update.  Grew a bit more  hair. Its a slow process, but at least its coming along.

I wouldnt be surprised if it turns into an 18-month affair
