  1. I would wait 15 months. New hair can still sprout up around the 12 month and can take a few more months to mature
  2. I tried oral MX but side-effects were too much. I had to abandon the project
  3. I will post updates every 3 months. I still have another 9 months of growing left to do. The new MX hairs seem to come through thicker and stronger. So far I'm very pleased with the results
  4. So I'm in my 3rd month of using minoxidil plus tretinoin (which is a form of retinol). Its supposed to grow more hair than MX alone. In the last 2.5 months I've grown a few hundred hairs, mostly around the crown. My question is can you guys tell, or is there not much difference??
  5. Those are the same symptoms I got. Dizziness (especially right before going to sleep). And also weight gain and puffiness. I too had to stop. I was only on it for about 3 weeks though
  6. I read somewhere its the propylene glycol that can cause dark circles under some peoples eyes, not so much the MX. Not sure if thats true though
  7. I wasnt on oral MX long enough to see any results, so I cannot compare. Topical MX works great for me, I actually grew some hair and I want to keep it
  8. You can get 5% Kirkland MX for dirt cheap on Ebay https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2499334.m570.l1311&_nkw=kirkland+minoxidil&_sacat=0
  9. Should be fine swtching. I did it and had no issues. Topical has very little side-effects for most people. You can buy cheap Kirkland generic on Ebay, works just as good as Rogaine. No risk when you stop
  10. Everyone reacts to this drug differently. Some people gain weight, others dont
  11. Within just a few days after stopping oral MX my weight went back to normal. I noticed it especially in my face. Thats where my bloating was the worst
  12. Yup, it causes bloating. Thats why I had to stop it
  13. Because whats the alternative?? Have no hair at all?? If I were a Norwood 7 or 8, and the only option was a hairpiece I would pick that. There are no other alternatives that I can think of
  14. Looking at this video I definitely have to agree with others that its a hair piece
  15. But if its a piece then why did the clinic not cover the back?? Seems strange to me. Also his donor hair in the back looks depleted
  16. I heard Dr. Bernstein is (or was) one of the best, but I dont know if thats still true since it looks like he's moved on to Artas: https://www.bernsteinmedical.com/
  17. He looks to be about a Norwood 7, so I think he got a good result
  18. That cant be because when clinics do hair pieces they never leave the crown bald. Also if you look at his front hairline it looks slightly pluggy
  19. The good news is your bad hair transplant is fixable, it's just going to cost you more money. But at least you didnt lose any grafts. Go to a reputable clinic for your next HT and I'm sure everything will work out for you
  20. What a pile of bullsh*t. Thats a horrible implantation of the grafts. Its got nothing to do with smoking or his positive medical status (whatever that means). If I were Rishi I'd sue the clinic for breach of patient confidentiality, assuming that can be done in country of origin
