Because she used maximum dose of RT, we did first a tests with 101 units. Once proven the vitality of tissue, we planned a reconstruction in the two procedures. In the first are grafted 3505 units, with a 0.75 mm punch. In this case, because is not an androgenetic alopecia, all the hairy area becomes donor. The second surgery was performed after one year with 3003 grafts (6362 hairs; 2.11 hair per graft; 0.75-0.8 mm punch; 5369FU1/ 1583FU2/ 821FU3/ 57FU4/ 4FU5/ 1FU6). Dr. Jos? Lorenzo. The doctor did something for this patient that's depth would be hard to put into words. Edit: and by doc, I mean his team as well. This is what I would call a hero case. I've done 4 of these cases now and have specific interest in this kind of work as my daughter had radiation for her brain tumor and I thought that I'd be working on her.
