ozzylondon
Hi everyone her i am from UK I think my concerns will come to a rest if i have a initial consultation with a HT Doctor I am considering BHR, currently cannot live work I am planning to have a consultation towards to end of the year because I will have some time off. I came to this conclusion: 1 - I would like to have FUE with Dr Feriduni but I cannot afford him they quoted too much for my budget- probably worth it I am aware but for 3000 grafts I dont have 13K - not for the time being i will have to save up. 2 - If I go with FUT i am considering BHR - 3 - I am also considering FUE with Dr De Reys simply because it suits my budget- got good advice from them. What do you advise everyone Please share your opinion everyone Thank you very much
Senior Member Spanker Posted June 28, 2012 Senior Member Share Posted June 28, 2012 I would save up for Dr. F if I wanted to keep my hair very short. I am an online representative for Dr. Raymond Konior who is an elite member of the Coalition of Independent Hair Restoration Physicians. Wait until you have been to see all 3 before making a decision 4,312 FUT grafts (7,676 hairs) with Ray Konior, MD - August 2013 1,145 FUE grafts (3,152 hairs) with Ray Konior, MD - August 2018 763 FUE grafts (2,094 hairs) with Ray Konior, MD - January 2020 Proscar 1.25mg every 3rd day
Senior Member Levrais Posted June 28, 2012 Senior Member Share Posted June 28, 2012 Personally I like fue and Bisanga. I would save money and/or look into financing options 5700 FUE in 3 procedures with Dr. Bisanga View my patient website: http://www.hairtransplantnetwork.com/blog/home-page.asp?WebID=1874
Senior Member HARIRI Posted June 29, 2012 Senior Member Share Posted June 29, 2012 Vice Versa, I would go to Feriduni for FUT and Bisanga for FUE. These two are the only excellent doctors from the ones you mentioned. However as an overall experience and feedbacks I would say Feriduni is the best. Pricewise, I think Feriduni and Bisanga is the same, maybe Feriduni a bit cheaper but definitely more experienced in FUT. Senior Member William38 Posted June 30, 2012 Senior Member Share Posted June 30, 2012 Dr De Reys is one of the best surgeons out there. He did a fantastic job on me. http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/165487-5000-fue-dr-de-reys.html He's been around for ages because he used to be the lead surgeon at Pro Clinic. I'm going to add some updates to my journal next week. He's pretty rare - a top surgeon who doesn't overcharge. He also doesn't try and pack patients in to an assembly line and knock them out in a day. He always split my operations over two days and took his time. Top doctor. Senior Member El Nino Posted July 1, 2012 Senior Member Share Posted July 1, 2012 Looking at your pic I would say you are not a very good candidate for any kind of HT. The donor hair on your sides looks very thin. I would advise to really look into what can be achieved with HT surgery and not rush into anything. But that's just my opinion. Senior Member chrisdav Posted July 2, 2012 Senior Member Share Posted July 2, 2012 It might be best that you have one to one consultation with a couple of the doctors you have listed to make sure you are a candidate for a hair transplant and make sure donor supply is appropriate before you set your heart on it. 2 poor unsatisfactory hair transplants performed in the UK. ozzylondon
thank you all for your comments I will have a consultation with the surgeons At the moment I am considering Dr De Reys simply because it suits my budget Feriduini quoted 13 Euros - i know he looks like an excellent surgeon Hariri- thank you for showing me Dr Lorenzo - i dont know how much he would cost me for 3000 FUE transplant do you? he looks like he has done good job Thanks all
Senior Member HARIRI Posted July 3, 2012 Senior Member Share Posted July 3, 2012 With Dr. Lorenzo, 3000 grafts would be (EURO 6 x 1000) + (EURO 4 x 2000) = 14000 EURO but still you can negotiate the price. That's how he charges, his prices stay the same Euro 6 (first 1000 grafts) Euro 4 (after 2000 grafts to 3000 grafts) Euro 2.5 (From 3000 grafts and above) with keeping discounted rate for next surgeries, so after your 3000 grafts , he will always charge you EURO 2.5 per graft. I have just spoken to him yesterday, he was there in Ukraine Kiev watching the EURO 2012 Final when Spain beat out Italy 4-0 :-D Plug removal + Strip scar revision - Dr. Ali Karadeniz (AEK)- May 23, 2015 Plug removal + 250 FUE temple points- Dr. Hakan Doganay (AHD)- July 3, 2013 Scar Tricopigmentation- Dr. Koray Erdogan (ASMED)- May 3, 2013 2500 FUT (Hairline Repair)- Dr. Rahal- July 26, 2011 My Hair Treatments: 1- Alpecin Double Effect Shampoo (Daily) 2- Regaine Solution Minoxidil 5% (2 ml once a day) 3- GNC Ultra NourishHair™ (Once a day) 4- GNC Herbal Plus Standardized Saw Palmetto (Once a day) My Rahal HT thread http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/164456-2500-fut-dr-rahal-hairline-repair.html[/size]
Senior Member alix Posted July 3, 2012 Senior Member Share Posted July 3, 2012 Lorenzo's work looks really impressive,if I were to go FUE he would be my 1st choice. Bisanga and Feriduni are also good.I'm not familiar with Reyes. like others mentioned;consultation with a few canditate surgeons + researching, browsing results is the best way to decide.it's very important to chose the best possible surgeon (regardless of distance and cost difference as much as possible) to reduce risk of disappointment. Kopite80
With Dr. Lorenzo, 3000 grafts would be (EURO 6 x 1000) + (EURO 4 x 2000) = 14000 EURO but still you can negotiate the price. How can the price be negotiated if these are his set prices or are most of the leading HT surgeons prices negotiable?
ozzylondon
Thank you Kopite At the moment although he looks like a very good surgeon I cannot afford 14K Euros because I am considering between Dr De Reys and Dr Basinga i dont know whether I should write this or did before Dr Basinga reckons i would need about 11K Euros whereas Dr De Reyes is 7K Euros for the same. I am not sure which one to go for Can anyone express their views on Dr De Reyes in Belgium who now has his own clinic working with his wife ? He suits my budget Thank you all waiting your comments
Senior Member HARIRI Posted July 9, 2012 Senior Member Share Posted July 9, 2012 Then in this case. Go to Dr. Bisanga as he is more trusted and has more results posted. Try to communicate with LEVARIS and STINGRAY... I wouldn't be so confident to have it done with the other doctor. Its a once of a lifetime thing, don't let budget stands in your way. Good luck. Senior Member William38 Posted July 11, 2012 Senior Member Share Posted July 11, 2012 I went with De Reys. His work is great. He used to be lead surgeon at the Pro Hair clinic so he's got tons of experience. He didn't overcharge and for me the best thing was that he actually did the operation himself and didn't leave it to any junior doctors or 'technicians' who are not actually doctors themselves. You get what you pay for and you don't overpay. Here's my journal atlhough I guess you've prob seen it already. http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/165487-5000-fue-dr-de-reys-3.html
Senior Member Bobilero Posted July 11, 2012 Senior Member Share Posted July 11, 2012 Push the budget and go with Bisanga or Feriduni in Belgium, their FUE results are second to none.
