Regular Member Radius Posted December 16, 2011 Regular Member Share Posted December 16, 2011 When I reply to a thread using (my favourite browser) Firefox, I get an error: Corrupted Content Error The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because an error in the data transmission was detected. The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because an error in the data transmission was detected. Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem. The reply still gets through though, but I then have to return to the forum mainpage everytime, so it's not convenient. When I use Internet Explorer the problem doesn't occur. Does anyone know a fix? Regular Member Radius Posted December 17, 2011 Author Regular Member Share Posted December 17, 2011 Ah ok, maybe it's one of the add-ons that is causing this problem then. I am using the latest update of Firefox btw.
Senior Member Sean Posted December 18, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted December 18, 2011 I have the same problem. I don't know what it is. It looks like the post doesnt go through but when I go to the thread again and refresh my post is there. I keep getting that error message though and it is annoying. I even get a message sometimes stating something about a duplicate post and It says have to wait a few minutes or something when I just posted once. I don't know if it is the browser or a forum issue. Trying to figure it out.
Administrators Hans - Webmaster Posted December 20, 2011 Administrators Share Posted December 20, 2011 There also seems to be a problem when posting with Chrome, this does warrant some investigation to see if there is a fix for this. Administrators Hans - Webmaster Posted December 20, 2011 Administrators Share Posted December 20, 2011 So far ther does not seem to be any issue with most browsers, so it could be a matter of user add on tools/gadgets that could be causing this. Administrators Hans - Webmaster Posted December 20, 2011 Administrators Share Posted December 20, 2011 This is really odd. I have tested it on a few platforms, mobile and desktop and have not see this type of error as yet. I will be testing it in a few other browsers and operating systems to see if I can replicate it. Thanks to all for providing any additional feedback. Hans Webmaster

Administrators Hans - Webmaster Posted December 20, 2011 Administrators Share Posted December 20, 2011 Replying using the advanced text option and have yet to see an error. This may just be one of those things that we can try and replicate and still not get the error as each user may have different browser versions and OS's. Still not sure how to address this problem, if I cannot replicate it. Hans Webmaster
Administrators Hans - Webmaster Posted December 20, 2011 Administrators Share Posted December 20, 2011 Replying using the advanced text option does giv this error, but not the "quick reply". This is very odd as it only happens with FireFox and no other browser I have tested it with. Hans Webmaster
Administrators Hans - Webmaster Posted December 20, 2011 Administrators Share Posted December 20, 2011 Using the advanced text editor and IE 9. Ok this seems to work fine with both the quick reply and the advanced. Only FireFox presents with the error. Hans Webmaster
Administrators Hans - Webmaster Posted December 20, 2011 Administrators Share Posted December 20, 2011 Another test, this time using Ubuntu 9.1/FireFox and the advanced text editor, to see if I get the error. Well, no error as yet, only on Win 7 and FireFox  Hans Webmaster
