It's been 3.5 months since transplant. I do not see any growth at hairline. Some improvement at crown.

What should I do?

Wait another 4-5 months and reassess your situation then.

Literally no growth at all? Remember that the average patient will have patchy growth at this stage with most still to come. If you do have no growth at all then it's possible that it's happening a little slower in your case.

Some transplants do go wrong, so if I say everything will definitely go well for you then it could end up being false information. However, it is only 3.5 months since your surgery which is early days. It's also common for some areas to grow before others.

It's too early to worry.

I had about the same number of grafts with Dr Gabel last march. I didn't notice

much at 3-4 months, mainly pimples!! Now at 7-8 months it has really come in!

I was completely bald on top so it has really made a difference, so I would say

just wait. Do you have any Pics?

Please see pictures attached.

I do see some improvement on the crown but not much at hairline.

I see minimal change on the right side of face but practically none the left side.

It's been 3.5 month since transplant.

It's hard to say without before pictures to compare with.... But again, you are so early in the game to be making any kind of judgements at this point.

I can see quite a bit of growth in your temple regions on both sides, and those areas looked to be completely bald pre-op. I'd say you were seeing normal growth. You should see a lot more growing within the next month.

I would be disappointed if I saw no growth at 3.5 months but its still relatively early.

I would be making early contact with your Doc though and drop in for a follow up.

The Doc maybe able to offer suitable reassurance and this will encourage the Doc to keep a closer eye on your progress.

The next couple of months should hopefully see significant progress...

All the best,

Jessie

Atlanta,

We inform our patients to expect the beginning stages of growth at 3.5 to 4.5 months after surgery. The fact that you can see differences occuring at this stage means all is right. The hardest part of HT for many people is the waiting. You have a long ways to go. You had a nice size session that will give you a good transformation. It's much too soon to worry.

I see definite growth and any disparity from one side to the other is minor not to mention irrelevant at such an early stage. Do NOT analyze this to death. Stop looking at it every day and trust in the process. It will come.
