  1. I don't smoke marijuana or cigarettes, but I smoke cigars. I waited a week after my first HT before I had one and everything turned out fine, but I still ran it past my doctor first
  2. When I started using Propecia, it was around $60 a month, then it went up to $90+ a month. My doctor suggested trying a 5mg finasteride pill and cut it. For 30 pills at the CVS pharmacy in target, it costs $9, and a month supply cut into fours lasts 4 months. I haven't noticed a difference at all between this and the propecia.
  3. Bill, Thanks for the reply. I am going to give it a shot. I ordered a 4 month supply, after that I will re-evaluate.
  4. How is it working out for you? I just ordered it.
  5. I had an FUT the first time, and an FUE the second time. I would go with FUE again, but you should talk to your doctor about what is best for you.
  6. It's not lotion it's just a hat that blocks UV rays, you can get them Off amazon
  7. You'll probably be fine, but just incase buy a UV protection hat. They're like $15, thats what i did.
  8. Before you do anything I would take to your doctor so he can provide you with good information.
  9. I don't think shampoo has that much of an impact, after my first HT I used an old ass bottle of Vive for Men Regenium XY, only because it was the only shampoo I had, and everything went fine.
  10. It was funny coming up with the reason I had to explain to a 5 year old why she couldn't tap me on the head. I definitely stay out of the sun, but if I am outside I wear a UV blocking hat and I am always under under an umbrella or something.
  11. I'm sure I'm overreacting but I'm 13 days post op, all scabs and crust are off. So I am sitting outside with a hat on and my 5 year old niece lightly taps the top of my head twice. Now she doesn't know I had a procedure but needless to say I was pissed. Anyone have a situation like that happen? I'm sure I'll be fine
  12. I started loosing my hair at 20, got on propecia at 22, met with Bosley at 23. Bosley told me I was a great candidate for a ht. I then found doctor Vogel, he said wait until 28. I waited and it was the best move. Don't rush your decision.
  13. You definitely want to get the doctors opinion of the donor supply. As stated above if the donor area isn't that great a procedure might not be worth it. And a good doctor will give you a honest opinion. Also if th doctor is honest about your donor supply, it can give you a realistic expectation of what you can expect should you be a candidate for a HT.
