Haha, that's quite impressive. I've always been impressed with Sean Hannity's seemingly Norwood 0 hairline.

I had often felt that for a grown man a nw 1 ( or 0 depending on your use if the terminology) looks a bit goofy. Such hairlines, in my opinion, are child like hairlines and most suitable for children.

A bit of temple recession with still solid density is, i think, the most flattering hairline for a grown man. Sort of a sign of virility...

Then again, I feel like the male image has been pushed towards a more feminine pole in the last decade or so. When I watch older movies men are portrayed as if Hemingway was the model for every male character in film and television. The movies if my generation seem to portray the majority of men in a much more feminine light. Cleaner cut, hair styled, tighter fitting clothes, etc.

Anyways, got a bit off topic.

Isn't the grass always greener on the other side? Those of us that suffer from MPB (and isn't that most adult males to some extent) are likely more attuned and more conscious of hair loss or lack thereof. After all, it is a tangible showing of the inevitable aging process---and yes we (I) am in denial and want to turn the clock back. We compare ourselves to our contemporaries and attribute lack of hair loss as a sign of competitive advantage. Let's face it----society likes men with hair---just look at politicians (Clinton, Perry, Regan), actors (Pitt) and media (Hannity, David Gregory). Its human nature---and I am as guilty as the next in wanting to cheat mother nature and my da*n genes.

I know it might be sacrilegious but I think the ideal adult male hairline is higher than Pitt's. I think his forehead looks too 'boxed in' in general.

That is sacrilegious. Pitt's hairline is the best. I know we want to say "oh, it's subjective, there is no best", but that's wrong. The best is Pitt's.
