Just shaved my head, can I pull it off?

I know this is a forum filled with 90% men, but I'd like to know what you think of the new look.

I'm trying to get a consultation with Rahal next month just to see what kind of candidate I am for the future, but I still feel I'm too young.

I've been on Minox for 3-4 months with very subtle response, and may try Fin if propeciahelp.com stops immensely scaring me.

Just going to stick it out with the new look, wondering if you guys think I can pull it off, I feel the hair suited me much more.

BTW I'm 24, lost a drastic amount this year and it started when I was around 21.

This look and the loss has definitely added 5-10 years to my age.

cheers!

Looks good man. Your face is still well framed and your loss is not that bad. I would get on the fin and go with this look. You are one of the few who can pull it off so take advantage of it.

Definitely get on the fin.....the gold standard for preserving and improving the health of your hair. The shaved look is fine for you. I think your hair in the before shave pics looks good also. Either way, I think your plan on getting on fin and waiting for a few years before a HT makes sense for good long term planning.

The shaved look is good for you. Definitely get on fin and save that crown. No need to rush into a HT at this point. See where the fin takes you first.

The shaved look looks good on you. Absolutely you can pull it off. Only thing is, and this might be a photo illusion... did you leave more on top than on the sides? It seems darker up on top than the sides. My only suggestion, if this is the case, is to buzz down the top even further so it matches the sides.

not even at first? positive results?

Not even at first. It is helping me. My native hair looks much stronger than it did when I started. I know some of the hype about it on the net is scary.......I felt the same way, but decided to try it.

Yes number 1.5 on top and .5 on the sides, I kinda like it that way for now until I lose more, what a terrible way to think.

I guess I'm seeing a doc about fin this week, I promised I never would.

The shaved look suits you very well. Where is your hair loss at? From the photos I can't tell you even have a problem!

Finasteride 1.25 mg. daily

Avodart 0.5 mg. daily

Spironolactone 50 mg twice daily

5 mg. oral Minoxidil twice daily

Biotin 1000 mcg daily

Multi Vitamin daily

Damn, with all the stuff you put in your hair are you like a negative NW1? :D

You look great shaved but you look better with hair! I highly doubt fin will regrow your crown all though they advertise it can. I've hardly seen anyone that has regrown their crown even when combining with minoxidil but it will definitely keep your front and everywhere else.

Maybe a small fue session could give you what you require in the crown and you'd still be able to shave your head down. People used to that 4 or 5 years ago under the theory less is more!

The shaved look suits you fine. I know what you mean about it adding a few years, but a lot of gals dig more mature guys. If you don't mind me asking, do you tweeze your eyebrows?

Get on fin. The sides are blown out of proportion. Most men don't have any sides effects. Wait it out a year on fin before you decide on a HT. Since you're head is shaved though it's a good opportunity to go for a consultation so the doc can get a clear idea of how much hair you have in the donor.

Months later and I'm still contemplating fin, jeze.

I do tril my eyebrows, that time I wen't a little too far in sculpting them.

Looks like I may be living in Toronto soon so hopefully Rahal has consultations there.
