Try to spend a good amount of time doing research. I'm talking at least a year. I spent three years deciding on my ht

I've spent the past 5 years researching HT and looking at results on the web, had 2 HTs before.. but it seems to be getting more difficult to choose!

alex: your right I shouldnt of stated they was overrated, that was a bad choice of words. I just think their is other clinics out their with just as good god work and price then them. But you choose whatever and whomever you feel is best for you.

Posting videos proving real life results is a massive plus but its strange that some don't bother looking for these. I spent a year just looking for videos of patients to convince me about the results. Some ppl go to a surgeon they've never heard about before or haven't seen evidence to get them in the chair.

What's money if you come out looking like a road kill

Although not the fault of either H&W or Dr. Rahal, when speaking about price and Canadian surgeons, you also have to consider that new Canadian tax and how that adds to the cost of the procedure.

I've asked this before and have yet to receive an answer, but is H&W priced in American or Canadian dollars?

I started using propecia and minoxidil in 2000

Had 7 hair transplants over 12200 grafts by way of strip but

1 Canadian dollar equals about 1.02 US dollars, so it's basically even.

Finasteride 1.25 mg. daily

Avodart 0.5 mg. daily

Spironolactone 50 mg twice daily

5 mg. oral Minoxidil twice daily

Biotin 1000 mcg daily

Multi Vitamin daily

Damn, with all the stuff you put in your hair are you like a negative NW1? :D

Worked out a few hundred pound difference for me paying hw in us compared to if I was gonna pay Canadian I was well happy. Think it was 350 pound I saved.

I require 4000 grafts, I'm a NW5A, live in Australia and received quotes (last week) from both Rahal and H&W and there's honestly only a small difference in price.

From all my research - it seems the advice from HT patients is not to worry about saving a few hundred dollars, but who's going to produce the best results.

I'm leaning towards Dr Rahal, because I believe his hairline results are the most natural, I would really appreciate and welcome your views on who you think is best.

If you believe it's H&W - which one?

Many thanks

DRoyal.

Rahal and Shapiro are relatively the cheapest among the mentioned ones . Maybe Shapiro is cheapest for having a 2% tax only. However If you want satisfying results and great design, then go with Rahal. Good luck.

You will not go wrong with any of the choices you mention. I recently had surgery with Dr. Ron Shapiro and my experience was fantastic. I would not hesitate to recommend him.

Surgery - Dr. Ron Shapiro FUT 6/14/11 - 3048 grafts

Surgery - Dr. Ron Shapiro FUE 1/28/13 & 1/29/13 - 1513 grafts

For a young patient below 30, who do you think can produce the best result?!

HW & Rahal r the top, and it makes harder to decide to go to which one...

Dr Wong suggest 2500 grafts to touch up my hairline and partly on the crown while Dr Rahal estimate 2000 grafts and leave the crown for medication to work on it..

The two mentioned are two of the best globally, very difficult to differentiate and negligible difference.

I would not hesitate putting my faith in either of them and find it silly people comparing them like this.

2 poor unsatisfactory hair transplants performed in the UK.

Based on vast research and meeting patients, I travelled to see Dr Feller in New York to get repaired.

Rahal is $4 per graft up to 2500 grafts then goes down to $3 (Strip) PLUS 10% discount if out of town... H&W is $5 per graft up to 2000 grafts and then goes down to $3 per graft (Strip of course). I find Rahal is cheaper and could negotiate with, very flexible. Good luck.

Dr Rahal's prices are no secret, although the discount once reaching a certain number of grafts might not be as widely known.

The price is (as other have mentioned) $4 per graft, and this falls to $3 for every grafts over 2500. There is a 10% discount for those travelling from out of town.

How much is FUE grafts? Thanks
