  1. Hi Phil, I recently travelled from Sydney to see Dr Rahal. I would advise 100% to fly direct to Canada and avoid the US. No visa require for Canada. Book early at Foxbar and try and get the ensuite room (not a problem if you can't) I advise you to stay at least 5 night post op. Dr Rahal provides all the post op hair care products. Take lots of DVD's, a laptop (there's free wifi), also download 'Viber' on your mobile and call friends and family for free. Good luck Dr Rahal is excellent and his staff. Regards Droyal
  2. Hi Muso Congrats and great too hear that everything went well. Thanks for the feedback on FoxBar - I was a little concerned about travelling from Oz and being post op on my own, but you've put to bed those fears. Have a safe journey back and grow well. Look forward to your updates. DRoyal
  3. Hi wildfire Congrats on your first HT - I hope you're healing well. I'm booked in with Dr Rahal in the 28th july and flying in from Australia, so unfortunately won't have anyone with me - I guess I'll just have to cope. A quick question - At what point after the op did you shave all your hair? And would you recommend shaving it all on the day of the surgery? Also, have you used a consealer on th scar area? Thanks for putting all your photos and info on the forum - it's a real help. Good luck! DRoyal.
  4. Good luck tomorrow. I've just confirmed my dates and flights for the 28th July with Dr Rahal. I look forward to your posts and updates. Droyal.
  5. Hi Gat sorry for the delay in contacting you. I'd love to see pictures! I'm deciding between Dr Rahal and Dr Hasson, just can't make my mind up. Are you happy with the scar? How short can you cut your hair? Look forward to seeing from you shortly. Thanks DRoyal
  6. I require 4000 grafts, I'm a NW5A, live in Australia and received quotes (last week) from both Rahal and H&W and there's honestly only a small difference in price. From all my research - it seems the advice from HT patients is not to worry about saving a few hundred dollars, but who's going to produce the best results. I'm leaning towards Dr Rahal, because I believe his hairline results are the most natural, I would really appreciate and welcome your views on who you think is best. If you believe it's H&W - which one? Many thanks DRoyal.
  7. Thanks for the info - I've emailed mattj. quick question - how long did you have to wait to get a date for your surgery? Thanks.
  8. Hi Ozguy, I've posted my contact details through Dr Rahal's website several times, but not received a reply. Can you pls let me know what the consultation process is for overseas patients? Thanks very much and hope you're well. DRoyal
  9. Hi Musoinoz Good luck for the 3rd of June. I also live in Australia and am planning my first HT with either Dr Rahal or H&W. I have posted my contact details through Dr Rahal's website several times, but not received a reply. What's the consultation process for overseas patient? Also, how long did you have to wait to get a date for your HT? Many thanks and good luck! DRoyal.
  10. Wow! Your hair looks great. I'm hoping to book with Dr Hasson for my first HT in a copule of months time. How did you decide to go with Dr Hasson over Dr Wong? Also, hope you don't mind me asking - but what was the cost of 3000 grafts? Did you shave your hair? Are you happy with the scar? Thanks very much. Droyal
  11. amazing results! How long did you have off work and how long before the scar was not noticable?
  12. Thanks for your reply – much appreciated. Amazing results after five months! A few more questions; What was the cost for the 4400 grafts? How long did you stay in Canada for? Are you happy with the scar? Many thanks
  13. Hi Ozguy I'm in Sydney and recently had a consultation with Dr Russell Knudsen. I was impressed with him and met with one of his patients (good results). After reading your posts I'm definitely thinking for going to Dr Rahal. How long do you think I'll need off work? thanks
