Regular Member DRoyal Posted May 24, 2011 Regular Member Share Posted May 24, 2011 Wow! Your hair looks great. I'm hoping to book with Dr Hasson for my first HT in a copule of months time. How did you decide to go with Dr Hasson over Dr Wong? Also, hope you don't mind me asking - but what was the cost of 3000 grafts? Did you shave your hair? Are you happy with the scar? Thanks very much. Droyal
Senior Member YouOnlyLiveOnce Posted May 24, 2011 Author Senior Member Share Posted May 24, 2011 Dr. hasson was my preferred choice but I was funneled to him immediately, I'm not sure how, Talk to them about price. I came as a cancellation so I got a bit of a discount. They shaved the entire area that was to be transplanted Scar looks good as far as I can tell. I had a diary of my progress but deleted it, it had really good scar pics in it.. actually I think I still have the disc in this laptop. I'll post those pics up in in a bit
Senior Member corvettester Posted May 24, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted May 24, 2011 Youonlyliveonce, Your new hairline frames your faces perfectly. At just 7 months post op, there is a definite cosmetic improvement, to say the least. Even though you're young, your new hairline really brings out your naturally youthful appearance. I imagine that you are the only person that can tell the difference between your transplanted hair and your native. We missed you here buddy... keep us updated. Senior Member bonkerstonker Posted May 25, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted May 25, 2011 (edited) Great change so far. Do you have a higher scar than the so called average safe zone like most of us hasson patients have? I ask because i've noticed virtually all the high scars by Dr Hasson i have seen have turned out great which confirms Dr Hassons thoughts that the highest hairs in the safe zone are naturally the thickest and best to transplant. Senior Member corvettester Posted September 23, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted September 23, 2011 (edited) Hey dude, You're coming up on your one year anniversary... how's it going? You last mentioned at 7 months, you were a little concerned with density, but it looked very promising otherwise. I hope the density issues have panned out and that you're on your way to a wow result. I've been following you and AmanIndia because all three of us are about the same age and we all had our HTs within a couple weeks of each other. Here's to the graduating class of 2011! Senior Member corvettester Posted October 9, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted October 9, 2011 YouOnlyLiveOnce, I see that you mentioned that you're transplanted hair isn't laying straight like your native hair. Is it sticking up straight? Also, how is your density issue coming along? Did it thicken up or are you going to have to go back for a second pass? Are you happy with the result? Senior Member Shadow of the EMpire State Posted October 10, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted October 10, 2011 How can everyone compliment the result based on pics taken 3-4-3 feet away? Close-ups come closest to telling the truth.
Senior Member bonkerstonker Posted October 10, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted October 10, 2011 It's a odd one this he comes on line but doesn't bother answering any questions for some reason and has deleted a lot of his early comments. Shame really because it looks a good ht from the pictures that are still available albeit they are long range sniper photos.
