Thanks guys. My hair is a little bit longer now, but not dramatically longer. Maybe 1 inch if that much. My last few pictures were taken outside in good light, without a flash, so I think this is pretty much what people see. If I go back and forth between the 10.75 month picture and the 13 month picture next to it (the two that are almost the exact same pose), I do see quite a bit more density in the middle.

I feel very good about my results, but... it could be a tad denser. You know, the hair greed thing.

Looks great Gorpy!

Big difference between 10 and 13 months.. I think I got some extra fullness after 12 months as well.. I think Dr. Keene never gets enough credit on here.. She is similar to my doc Dr. True and has a more conservative approach ..This is sometimes under appreicated as well as their hairline artistry

Hi Gorpy,

As I'll be having my second HT soon and I'm a bit anxious about shock loss, I was wondering if you had much shock loss of your HT#1 hair after your second HT?

PB,

I know you asked Gorpy, but I thought I'd chime in. Shockloss is unpredictable and can happen anytime you transplant hair into existing native or transplanted hair, so it's possible you will experience shockloss either way. But, the transplanted hair will definitely come back. Any native hair should come back assuming it's strong healthy hair and not on it's last limbs.

See any of my links below. I experienced a lot of shockloss on HT1 and HT2...not as much on HT3, but still some.

Hi PB,

Bill is correct. It's somewhat unpredictable. I had some minor shock loss this time.

Hi rjvw,

Don't know when I'll be posting new pics. At almost 2.5 months, there's not much to show right now. Everything is progressing normally at this point. I had more hair that didn't shed this time - maybe 30-40 percent.

Ok, I've decided to post some 4.5 month post op pics. Although it's still very early, I've noticed some improvement already.

Looks very nice, Gorpy. It's definitely starting to come in. The xtra grafts will give you nice added density and be a nice improvement.

Gorpy,

I love your results and how natural and soft your hair looks. I already see your results coming in from the 2nd HT and it looks great. You must be a very happy man!

Gorpy,

Ya ya your hair looks good, but what about more pictures of your wife? Kidding my friend, things look awesome. I appreciate the naturalness of the hairline and the fact that it is not "cookie cutter." I am getting to where I want to see more hairlines of guys in their 40's and 50's because I believe it takes more artistry. Thanks for the update.

Seriously though Gorp.

Who can show me photos of hairlines that look more natural than yours? It would be tough.

Well thanks NN!

I get a lot of people glancing at my hair now. I can almost hear them thinking "what's going on with all that hair? It looks too natural to be a transplant. Where did it come from?"

Hey Gorp

Yup.. Have you gotten the typical "commerical-like" comments

Oh, you look different?

Did you lose weight?

Oh, I like your new haircut?

It's sounds like BS but it has happened to me atleast 10 times with people who haven seen me in a while

SOOOO great and I still have 2124 grafts wating to grow at 3 months pot op !!
