Senior Member Gorpy Posted March 9, 2006 Author Senior Member Share Posted March 9, 2006 Thanks PB. Yes it is obvious improvement. And when you think about it, it has only been growing for 2 months (since it doesn't sprout till month 3). That's not very long. Senior Member Gorpy Posted March 21, 2006 Author Senior Member Share Posted March 21, 2006 Oh my God Hairbank. I feel for you. That's about the toughest point. It'll all be good by the summer. PB, I think that's just the lighting in my bathroom. Plus, as it grows out, it kind of lightens up. Senior Member Gorpy Posted April 1, 2006 Author Senior Member Share Posted April 1, 2006 I added a 6 month update. I still have a bunch of new hairs that haven't matured yet. Senior Member Gorpy Posted April 1, 2006 Author Senior Member Share Posted April 1, 2006 Thanks PB, that's exactly what my wife said. I get a few looks, but no one has said anything. What I've tried to do is be around everyone I work with so that to them it has all been gradual. I've got a few friends that I haven't seen since the transplant. Senior Member Gorpy Posted April 3, 2006 Author Senior Member Share Posted April 3, 2006 Oh, ok he he. That's funny. That hair was a rogue hair that was hanging around pre-transplant and never seemed to want to go away. It's not a transplanted hair. That is where my hairline was about 10 years ago. You really do notice detail don't you? Hmmm... that actually looks good. Maybe I should really pluck that hair. ____________ 2700 Total Grafts w/ Keene 9/28/05 663 one's = 663 1116 two's = 2232 721 three's = 2163 200 four's = 800 Hair Count = 5858 1000 Total Grafts w/Keene 2/08/07 Mostly combined FU's for 2600+ hairs My Photo Album See me at Dr. Keene's Gallery
Senior Member hairbank Posted April 3, 2006 Senior Member Share Posted April 3, 2006 Gorpy, Lookin' good. Though the angle's slightly different, the 6 month pic shows marked improvement from only 1 month ago. The hairline looks very nice and natural. Senior Member kg007 Posted April 3, 2006 Senior Member Share Posted April 3, 2006 Looks good so far Gorpy. Just hang in there. When I had my procedure with Dr. Keene, I was a later boomer as well. i didn't see much growth for first 6 months. But month 7-8 just took off. I think I saw my final outcome at 9 months, nothing much improved beyond that.. So give it another 2-3 months..

Bill - Seemiller
Gorpy, Looking good man. Decent improvement from 5 months to 6 months. I'll be looking forward to what happens with you over the next couple months...most likely, you'll still have some new growth and thickening of your transplanted hair will continue for a good amount of time. So are you happy so far? That's the most important part yes?Bill
