  1. I've been taking the drug for over 11 years now. I have no brain fog, no depression, and no erection problems. I am in the majority and you are in the minority. I have a photographic memory and graduated at the top of my class as a philosophy major at a very difficult jesuit university. My IQ has been measured in the 140 range, both before and after finasteride use. NONE of my mental faculties have been hindered in any way from finasteride use; and if this were the case then someone like myself would DEFINITELY be acutely aware of it. Clueless ? Hardly, my friend. I'm just one of the more fortunate people and you are one of the less fortunate -- it's really that simple! And concerning depression being a phenomenon related to post-modern industrial culture and the rampant apathy that inevitably accompanies it, if any one of us here were to find ourselves stranded on a deserted island would we really have the time to be depressed ? Or would we be too occupied with the overwhelmingly challenging task of mere survival ? Think on that one! It's something that I wrote extensively about in college.
  2. brentipold, You are right, I am an "idiot" and proud of it. And as an idiot my mood is just naturally too jovial to experience depression. As a matter of fact, I don't even really understand what depression is. It must be a by-product of industrial society. I seriously doubt that primitive man had the "luxury" of being depressed, he was simpy too busy surviving and procreating. To what extent do you think sitting for hours everyday in front of a computer screen or having your head buried in an Iphone could be a possible source of depression ? To what extent do you think not having a fulfilling, spontaneous, exciting sex life with a beautiful woman you love and are seriously turned-on by could be a possible source of depression ? To what extent do you think that ingesting small quantities of flouride in drinking water and toothpaste every day could be a possible source of brain fog and depression ? To what extent do you think that holding a cell phone up to your ears for hours every day (which studies have shown cause brain cancer) could be a possible source of depression ? To what extent do you think ingesting fast foods full of processed waste products like MSG could be a possible source of brain fog and depression ? To what extent do you think breathing in toxic fumes in the air dispersed from chemical plants and automobiles could be a possible source of brain fog and depression ? To what extent do you think smoking, drinking, and recreational drug use could be a possible source of depression ? To what extent do you think sleep deprivation due to living in a regimented society that requires strict obedience to the time clock be a possible source of depression ? To what extent do you think that being processed into a mindless machine in the modern educational system from birth and having your childhood stripped away from you in order to become a mere cog in the wheel of an industrialized society be a possible source of depression ? Should I go on any further ? I could probably write 100 more pages and that would just be getting started. My point is that there is an ENDLESS list of possible sources of depression in today's world. Finasteride IMO is somewhere at the bottom of my personal list.
  3. Only the very best docs will limit themselves to 1 mega-session patient per day. When I had my surgery I was lucky enough to be the only patient in the entire clinic that day. The entire staff of techs were all working just on me alone, and that was about 13 girls!! IMO you get what you pay for and this is the most difficult and technically challenging cosmetic procedure in the world to perform correctly. Had Little Wolf gone to my clinic I have little doubt that his outcome would have been quite different than this, although the price may have been double or triple what he paid in Pakistan.
  4. I think that who the doc is performing the HT is more important than what technique is used. Then also the techs' experience and talent comes in 2nd place. Technique would probably be third on the list IMO. I remember early on in my HT that morning the master tech (Jodi w/ 15 years under her belt) told Dr. Hasson that his slits were a little too small. The way she told him was very authoritative as if she was his peer, not a subordinate. I seriously believe if it wasn't for her high level of experience and comfort working with Dr. Hasson my yield may have been compromised. A truly great HT cannot simply depend on the skill of the doc as there are just too many variables and he is only human no matter how great he is; you need a system of checks and balances all throughout the process and the best clinics have this and THAT is why they are more expensive! You truly get what you pay for. Also, two different docs performing lateral slit will NOT acheive the same results! Just like two different painters using oil based paints will not paint the same picture. One will paint a masterpiece and the other will paint a run-of-the-mill painting. That's why I don't get too caught up in the technical details concerning HTs. This is what the great clinics are getting paid for so that you don't have to stress out thinking about it yourself too much. Either a clinic has the PROOF of a multitude of consistent successful outcomes or they are just talking intellectual mumbo-jumbo BS. IMO the proof is all that matters. And if they can't show it then you have to wonder to yourself -- WHY ???
  5. Ahh, the naivety of youth -- I miss it, I really do. Just be glad that you weren't around in the 1990s when forums like this did not exist to educate you, and unscrupulous clinics peddling "doll hair" plugs would lie to you and tell you "yes, it's really that simple" !!!
  6. Cool bruddha, I am sorry that you got those sides from fin. I read some of your posts and it does indeed seem that you gave it a legit. try and that none of your issues were just in your head. It just seems that after only 6 weeks Garet might very well be making a mistake he will later regret. He looks to be a pretty good HT candidate if he can keep what he has. TBH I definitely do not like the watery semen, but it's just something I have chosen to deal with for now. Trust me, the day that Histogen really proves itself to be a viable, safe treatment and is available I will have a "flushing fin down the toilet" party and everyone at HTN will be invited!!! It would be nice to be able to hit the ceiling again, if you know what I mean! I am confident that day will come within the next 10 years so that I will not have to be on fin for my entire life. I did ALOT of research on the viability of HM and cloning pre-HT to make sure this stuff wasn't just some Star Trek science fiction. I can honestly say that if I felt chances were high it would not be available in my lifetime I likely would have not gone forward with the HT. That is how conservative I am.
  7. D, Well, I didn't mean my post to be nasty. And TBH I am not an advocate of big pharma prescription drug use either. Fin is the ONLY prescription drug I take. I wont even take advil for headaches. I am that much of an anti-drug freak! Now your comments about biking being the "easy way out" and indoor air conditioned gym workouts being the "manly" thing to do are quite laughable indeed! You obviously have no idea what type of biking I am talking about. Have you ever done any serious mountain biking ? If not then you have no idea what kind of endurance it takes to do it! Thinking of somebody lifting weights or walking on an electronic treadmill whilst watching football on a big screen TV in an indoor air-conditioned gym does NOT summon the image of a manly activity to me. Concerning being a slave to finasteride I guess you are right in a way. But it seems to me because you had ED issues with it that this is simply your way of dismissing it. The way I see it is that when we are in the womb we are not yet man or woman, we are simply "human". It is the dominance of certain hormones (which occur by chance) that influence the development of male or female attributes. If one wishes to probe deeper one will discover that the terms "man" or "woman" are gender stereotypes created by society. We are really not completely 100% one or the other. So I have no problem with the idea that my "manliness" is being reduced from taking a drug that lowers my DHT levels. For preserving my prostate health it may very well be a good thing in the long run as MANY men in my family have died from prostate cancer in their 50s! I think alot of this "brain fog" that guys talk about is just the fact that when DHT levels are reduced our brains start drifting and daydreaming which is something common in women. Like I said, you either want your hair or you dont. Without finasteride your chances of going completely bald are probably 99.9%. COMPLETELY bald means that you will not look anywhere near the same as you do now!! If you let this happen you may find yourself making eye contact with young women in coffee shops and feeling like some kind of perverted old man because NONE of them will even take a second glance at you, even though you are ONLY 5-10 years older than them!!! And you may suddenly find that women who look like your mother (with 5 kids) are the ONLY ones who will pay any attention to you, no matter what your efforts to keep in shape and look like a Tap Out freak are! The only way to know this is to live it in reality not just theory. Without fin by the time you hit 40 you will most likely "be there" and there will be no turning back. If you are happy and feel free with the bald shaved head look then fine. I tried it for years and in the end just felt like another faceless shaved head "slave" clone in the crowd. I've also known many NW5/6 guys who would have nervous breakdowns if they misplaced their electric shaver for one day. You can call that freedom if you like but it just seems like another type of slavery to me. The only truly free person is one who would be so unconcerned with his cosmetic appearence that he would just let the monk fringe grow out and not think twice about it. I've met this type before and they also tend to let their teeth rot out and are not very fond of bathing often because they are just too "in the moment" to really care. They also NEVER get laid!
  8. 6 weeks ? You've got to be kidding, right ? 6 weeks is not even enough time for your body to adjust to the drug. Most likely what you were feeling was exactly that, your body adjusting to the new experience of the lower DHT levels. Depression ? Maybe I'm from the old school (41 years), but when I used to tell my parents I was depressed and didn't feel like getting up out of bed to go to school my father would whip out his belt and smack me a good one on the ass. It's truly amazing what a sharp pain sensation like that can do to get rid of depression. I take 1.25 mg of finasteride daily. Brain fog ? I can still remember phone #s from ex-girlfriends in the early 1990s. I can also play Beethoven's most complicated piano compositions from memory without missing a single note! Lethargy ? I'm 41 years old and I'm in the best shape of my life; I ride 20 miles every day on a bicycle and leave guys in their mid 20s panting and gasping for air trying to keep up with me. I think they watch too much TV which is another MAJOR cause of depression! Are there days when I wake up and it's hard to even get out of bed ? You bet! But do you know what I do to GET MYSELF OUT OF BED ? I smack myself on the ass and FORCE myself to get up !! Try it -- it works ! My motto: no pain, no gain. You either REALLY WANT to keep your hair and look your best, or you're mamby pamby about it. Also, the MIND is a much more powerful tool than 99.9% of people realize. You can overcome anything IF you have the WILL POWER to do it. Spending too much time hanging out on hairloss forums can also be an EXTREME source of depression !!!
  9. This is the classic "moth eaten" look that happens with alot of FUE today when the patient expects to get thousands of grafts. Not a pretty sight indeed. Considering the OP is shaved down to a 0 guard in the scariest photos, I'd say this is a pretty decent FUE result concerning the scarring. Not in the elite category for sure, but definitely not butchery. I've seen much worse than this for sure. If the grafts are expected to have any chance of survival the holes cannot be much smaller than this. And, of course, patient physiology plays a VITAL role in the outcome! I know the pro FUE cult on here will come in and bash me and insist that this will not happen in the hands of an "elite" FUE surgeon. And I will say if that is indeed true then will he/she GUARUNTEE THAT IN WRITING ? But hey, look at the bright side: he can just "throw in the towel" now and live happily ever after because he does not have a smiley faced strip scar on the back of his head.
  10. I'm far from rich, but I just don't think about $ when it comes to art. I'm a piano player so I can truly appreciate the practice and skill it takes for the doc and staff to pull off a world class HT. There's a dude on here who posted a question: "Hasson or Madhu, debt or cash ?" I think that just about says it all. IMO you go to who you feel is the very best and you pay whatever that person asks. And if you can't afford it you WAIT until you have saved enough. This is your head for christ's sake, and most peeps only get one, maybe two shots at doing this thing right. If you could go back in time and undo what Rogers did to you on your first HT how much $ would that be worth to you ? $100,000 ? $1,000,000 ? Can you even put a price on it ?
  11. When I had my surgery in May 2010 at H & W I noticed when I filled out the forms it said "Hasson & Wong AESTHETIC Surgery". After seeing this it made me realize what we are really paying for when we choose one of the best. The top HT docs are artists, and so it is NOT just the hair count that determines the result but also (and perhaps more importantly) the doc's skill and talent at the way he lays everything out. All I can say is that I am happy so far, and if (when) my results meet my expectations when I look in the mirror then I will be ECSTATIC to forget about everything I have learned concerning HTs and just become a normal everyday joe again going about my life. It wouldn't matter to me if I paid $100,000 because if I look great and am happy then that is worth $10,000,000 to me! I don't expect the hot south american babes on the beaches to be taking out their magnifying glasses and making a hair count before they decide if they want to fool around with me or not !!! If I look good and it gets me past phase #1 with the chicks then I GOT WHAT I PAYED FOR ! From phase 2 (personality) onward I will hit the frickin ball out of the stadium 100% of the time -- guarunteed. I have said it before and I'll say it again: HT internet forums are a necessary part of doing diligent research so as to not get butchered, but at a certain point they become like a bad (VERY bad) Kafka novel that none of us should have to endure for very long !!! Indeed, if you are not employed in the HT industry then obsessing over all of these details once you have taken the plunge is just a complete waste of precious time. You will either look good or look like shit -- and if you look good then just move on and forget that you ever even had a hairloss problem.
  12. I don't think clinics should give a discount if a patient averages less hair per grafts than another; concerning the workload, a graft is a graft whether it has 3 hairs or 1 hair. I do however wish there was a scientific way to measure this pre-surgery. As it stands now you have to wait until the strip is sliced out of your head and dissected before you know what your numbers are. As far as knowing if a clinic is cheating you or not, it seems the only way you could know for sure is to have another surgery at another clinic and see what the numbers average. If they are radically different then it stands to reason that one of them is cheating you. Yeah, it's a drag when a guy who gets the same # of grafts as you ends up with 2000 more actual hairs, both from a cost factor and also the end result itself !!
  13. tsakalos, Can you please be more specific ? Was lateral slit better for you, or sagittal slit ?
  14. What you should do IMO is meet a few URFUT patients in person who have your hair/skin traits and see what you think about it. Make sure they were virgin heads pre-HT because otherwise you are not comparing apples to apples. And see them is the most unflattering light conditions. Yes, coarse dark hair is the best for getting the most COVERAGE! But the best of HT docs will tell you that this type hair presents the biggest challenge for creating a NATURAL looking hairline -- so much so that they take an entirely different approach in how they perform the hairline design as compared to an individual with medium or finer hair. IMO it is best to be somewhere in the middle concerning hair diameter for an undetectable result, and with limited loss/small head so that the area to cover is not so extensive. Hence finasteride is an absolute MUST !!!
  15. I think Malloy's issue is that he has coarse, thick, wiry, dark hair on pale skin. In photos it looks great but in real life something is "off" just enough to draw attention to it in public. If you have people staring at your hairline with a puzzled look on their faces everywhere you go, then you might actually prefer just being bald. It doesn't matter what his photos look like and what the HTN community thinks based on this; Malloy has to live with this day to day and I imagine it consumes him and creates alot of anxiety and frustration. Before I got my HT I met with alot of patients in person. Two of them had Malloy's hair traits and it looked too much like a "wall of hair" with no transition zone. Even when I was uneducated about modern HTs I would probably have noticed something "odd" about the hairline of these two patients. I remember telling myself that if that's what my end result would look like then I would DEFINITELY just choose to stay with the balding look !!! It actually made me feel blessed to have thinner caliber hair and this was a HUGE factor in my decision to move forward. Fortunately for me I found that URFUT patients who had medium or lesser hair shaft caliber had completely undetectable results; yes their hair was not as thick as George Clooney, but nobody would ever guess they had a cosmetic surgery so who gives a rats ass !!! Would you rather be the guy with the thinner than Clooney NW2 who looks completely natural, or the wall-of-hair wirebrush NW0 dude whose HT is spottable by uneducated onlookers wherever he goes ??? This is why I tell newbies on here to BEWARE OF WHAT YOU ASK FOR because you just might get it !! Many think that super thick density equals "naturalness". Not true IMO from the patients I have seen. In real life a person with Malloy's hair traits (and no MPB) will have ALOT of fine vellous hairs mixed in with that "wall of hair" hairline to break it up, otherwise it may look like the metal strings protruding from a wire brush -- nothing nice! This has nothing to do IMO with Dr. Feller's work in his case which I believe was excellent. Malloy also made a VERY poor decision with his previous HT before Dr. Feller, so he really had no choice but to seek repair! He should have done ALOT more research prior to his first HT, met with patients who had his hair traits, and then made a truly informed decision before jumping in.
  16. Spex, Yeah man, I'm on 1.25 mg finasteride daily from here until eternity !! I been on it for over 10 years but was inconsistent up until 1 year ago. At any rate, it has halted the loss quite well since age 30. I was pretty much a NW3v+ back then and was just barely a NW4 right before surgery so it MUST have done something for me !!!
  17. check em out ma bruddhas: Hair Restoration Site for Epileptic Sceptic
  18. Akash, The only reason IMO you are inclined to believe those "horror stories" about finasteride is because you still have enough hair left to not even know what balding really is all about. If you think you have emotional issues now (depression) then just wait until you are REALLY going bald and cannot do anything to hide it. If you do not get on finasteride there will come a point in the near future where you look in the mirror one day and suddenly know the TRUE MEANING OF GOING BALD !!! At this time you will seek finasteride in a fit of total despair and not even think twice about the "horror stories" because you will be dealing with the HORROR of going bald and looking 20 years older than you really are. But alas, at that time it may very well be too late anyway. You are IMO VERY, VERY LUCKY because you still have alot of hair left to save. You can just throw away your chance to save it because of some 'horror stories" you read on the internet, or you can man-up and get on the medication ASAP and see how it works for you personally.
  19. illuminated, Well, since I was mentioned here I thought it only appropriate to reply. Surf mentioned that my biggest regret was stopping finasteride, but I actually never completely quit it; back in the day it was hard to get and super expensive, so I was nonchalant and allowed myself to be without it for several months out of every year. I've been taking it for almost 11 years now and am 41. My biggest regret is actually that I did not get on it sooner because it has worked so well for me that I likely would never have needed a HT; rest assured if I had known about it in my early 20s I would have sold my soul to the devil to get it at any price !!! My advice to you is to keep taking it for at least 1 year. At the end of 1 year if you believe you have legitimate erectile dysfunction THEN, AND ONLY THEN, should you quit !! I really cannot stress this enough -- do not be nonchalant and just think everything will be OK because you've had your HT. This IMO would be a BIG mistake! Yes, most all of us who benefit from the drug have watery semen -- you will just have to accept that and live with it if you want to keep your hair as you really have no other choice at this point in time. Suprisingly the only time I experienced difficulty getting erections is when I lowered the dose, and once I got back on 1.25 mg daily I no longer had any issues. You may have to go thru a full 1 year of taking the 1.25 mg dose every day before your body completely adjusts and your erections are stiff as steel again. I remember a turning point where a switch flipped in my brain and I suddenly had full control over that organ again, but still the watery semen and reduced volume. Yes, ejaculations may never be as intense as they once were in the pleasure domain after being on fin for the long haul. You have to make a choice whether or not the extremes of sexual pleasure or your hair is more important to you. In your case since you've already had a major HT you don't really have much of a choice IMO, and I think for you to quit fin would be a MAJOR mistake that would become painfully obvious 1-5 years from now. I still enjoy sex very much, but I would say the pleasure level is about 80% of what it used to be. You have to decide if that extra 20% is worth more to you than your hair; for me the choice was pretty easy. I saw your blog and you were not a NW1 or 2 pre-HT. You actually had the outline of a NW4+ or even a NW 5/6 developing in a diffuse pattern. You must understand that MPB is not going to give up the fight to finish you off and the only chance you really have is to stay on the finasteride. Otherwise you'll be right back in the chair for another HT not too long from now. You were smart enough to choose the best HT doc in the world so please take his advice and stay on the finasteride and take it seriously. I know Dr. H is a huge advocate of fin and rightly so!
  20. Copasurfer, Well, these photos are much better than your others. It would be even better if you had taken some top-down shots as well, but these will suffice. As I suspected before your loss goes back pretty far into the nether regions of the front third. This can be seen really well from the right angle. The hairline you drew in an earlier post is too aggressive IMO, unless you plan on exhausting 90% of your lifetime graft supply in pursuit of it. You must understand that any HT doc worth his salt is going to shave down your entire front third and address all of the thinning areas. He's not just going to listen to you and give you what you want based on your own false interpretaion of your extent of loss; in your case only a 2 bit hack would just plant grafts in the front where you drew the hairline. I still stand by my assessment of 5000 grafts to get the hairline that you drew and the density that you say you are seeking. Measure the entire front third back from where you drew the hairline you want and then you will come up with a different measurement. Yes, not all of that area will be addressed but a good perecentage of it will. A great HT doc is going to address all of the thinning areas and fill it in with grafts so that there is a perfect blend from front to back. Anything short of this will look odd and unnatural. You biggest advantage I see is your very low scalp to hair contrast ratio. I think your hairloss is actually a good bit worse than you think, but because of your excellent contrast ratio it is much less discernable. Considering what you are after (and also that you need to manage your total lifetime supply of grafts wisely), if I were in your shoes FUE would be my last option and not the first. I'd only consider FUE once all of my strip supply was completely exhausted. MPB is progressive and you are only 31; by age 51 you might only have 1/2 of the hair you have now, especially if you are not taking finasteride daily. You said you have no family history of beyond NW3 but you just cannot bank on that. I have a good friend who is now a NW5+ at age 41 and his hair looked similar to yours at age 30. He also can find no males on either side of his family who had anything beyond a NW3. Look around on the boards and you'll find plenty of other guys who are in the same boat. Bottom line is: you need alot of grafts, MPB is progressive, you want something dense and lush, and 3000 FUE grafts will devirginize your donor area and result in significantly less total overall grafts available. The greatest thing about forums like this is that in 1, 2, or 3 years time from now you can look back and see the advice that was given to you and discern who was right and who was wrong! Good luck whatever you decide.
  21. I've been paying about $35 for mine for the last 2 years -- no complaints !! What really pisses me off is when I think back about how expensive and hard to get it was 10 years ago!! I had to order from a canadian pharmacy and they needed a new prescription every time. Because it was like this I allowed myself to miss several months out of every year !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Even though I was only an early NW4 pre-HT this year I can't help but wonder how much better off I would be had I 1) always had a consistent supply and 2) been able to start it at age 22 instead of age 30 !! I am almost certain had I started it at age 22 that my genetics were good enough to keep me at a strong NW3 with no crown loss. This is why when I see these young early MPB bucks today saying they'd rather not take fin it makes me laugh at how stupid some of them are. They have it so good compared to what us older guys had to go thru !!
  22. wb80, Agreed. I think the whole strip vs. FUE debate is completely meaningless and those who get caught up in it show clearly just how ignorant they are concerning HTs in general. Most of these people are trying to make a decision to get a HT based on forum research alone which to me is absurdly naive; they are lazy and want to believe that learning from forums is good enough, which IMO is NOT !!! Of all the strip patients I have met in person the biggest non-issue was the strip scar; some had very short hair and even looking for it with a comb you could not find it. I'm sure they could shave their head and post a big close-up photo of the scar and folks around here would be crying bloody murder, but in everyday life it is completely a non-issue. The strip vs. FUE argument is a dead horse because the wise HT patient knows that BOTH have their place! And even still these are just 2 weapons in the arsenal that you need to fight the MPB demon. They are NOT the end-all-be-all solution! The harsh truth that many gloss over is that finasteride is very likely MUCH more important than what any HT can bring to the table in the long run, but they say "I'll go FUE so that later I can throw in the towel and not have to continue on fin". This is like saying "I'll build my house next to a volcano and not bother with paying for insurance so I can just watch it get destroyed one day and throw in the towel." The bottom line (IMO) is that if you cannot handle the finasteride then you have no business seeking a HT of any type if you have any concern for the long run. If you want to retain the option to shave your head then just shave it down now -- what is stopping you ? If you are insecure now about doing it then why do you think you will feel any different about it 5,10, or 20 years from now ? And if you get a FUE HT you will be a SLAVE for life to having to shave it down !!! Why ? Because those patches of permanent HT hair will continue to grow for the rest of your life and you will never have any other option but shaving down your head to hide them !!!
  23. This is one of the best posts I've read in awhile here and so I felt the need to post a follow-up comment. It does not suprise me that this post came from a HT veteran who knows just how bad things were back in the 90s compared to today !! When I think about HT forums today the thing that bothers me the most is the wanton ingnorance of youth and the totally ridiculous expectations that some of these young guys have concerning HTs. They want it all and they don't want to make any compromises in the process; most of them are making foolish decisions that they will likely (IMO) come to regret in the future!! If we could go back in a time machine to the 1980s and tell a guy (who just got open donor punch grafts extracted from his head) that by 2010 there would be microsurgery with no evidence of scarring in the recipient area, and that there would be a fine linear scar covered by even very short hair in the rear --- HE WOULD BE JUMPING OUT OF HIS CHAIR !!! Add to this the fact that he could swallow a pill once per day and never reach an advanced balding state and he would probably look at you like you were crazy !! But we have these spoiled youngins today who don't want any compromises whatsoever! They are too puritanical to take a hormone altering pill, and they also want to retain the option of shaving their head. Most of them haven't lost enough hair yet to really know what it means to be bald/balding either, and this is why I say that MANY of them will be in a deep state of regret in the coming years for their foolish decisions today! So they look into FUE because it SEEMS to be the answer for the type of guy who WANTS IT ALL without any compromises or any risk. They don't even want a linear scar on the ONLY part of their body where it can be easily covered with hair and NO ONE WILL EVER SEE IT !!!! It's truly a joke and I get tired of coming here sometimes and seeing the same old tired, dead, beaten horse taking another wallop to the head when it's already been pounded into ground meat 1,000,000,000,000,000 X !!!! Lately I am of the opinion that these forums can (in many cases) do more harm than good for the prospective HT patient. There is too much fear and too many conflicting opinions from "know-it-alls" who really know nothing. The only regret I have today (besides not RELIGIOUSLY staying on finasteride and getting on it sooner) is that I let HT forums scare me from getting a strip surgery in 2005. I lost 5 good years because I was so worried about a complete non-issue called a linear strip scar, and it was other anonymous forum members who I allowed to scare me out of it.
  24. Demand a refund and seek out the advice of only the very best. I'd personally recommend Dr. Hasson or Wong. Sorry you have had to go thru this!
