  1. i would think 3500 would be more like it. a lot will depend on your hair characteristics. all the best with your goals.
  2. Congrats also on your procedure. Dr Rahal consistently preforms the highest quality work for his patients. Come the New Year expect some full on fringe action!
  3. Exactly the same ingredients as Regaine....go ahead and save some cash i would say. Give the medication a year to evaluate its effectiveness.
  4. Hi Guys are Eman and Jupiter still posting on here? Eman had his Ht with Rahal and last time i checked was well on his way to a excellent result. Jupiter took the Finasteride and Minoxidil route and he also, at the time, seemed happy with his progress. Been a while since i last looked in here and just trying to play catch up.
  5. Haven't posted on the forum in a while.....but boy what a result! Truly amazing transformation from Dr Hasson. The guy suits the grey look! Is that a tear i see in the shot of the new restoration with his head angled to the right? Bet there tears of joy!
  6. Hi Eman Sorry to hear about the back man...at least the hair is sorted though. Just out of curiosity how did you do it ...with mine i was only bending over to pick something up for one of my kids in my garden. I slipped the disc last year and ended up with 4 weeks off on the sick from work. While off i was told by the doctor to take it easy for the first week and then try to get back to normality (light tasks, walking the dog etc)in the remaining time. For pain management i had plenty of hot baths and used hot and cold patches on the area of pain.(with me the pain started at the top of my butt on the right side and traveled down the right leg to the ball of the foot.) When i made it back to work i eased myself back into things(use your own common sense) I would say that it took about 4 months (for me)before i was confident enough to step back inside a gym and gradually getting back into heavy lifting(no squatting or direct lower back exercises at all!) As of today i still get the odd twinge from my back but nothing that stops me from doing what i want. I guess im a whole lot more aware now of my back during certain situations and try to use correct posture and form if there is any bending and lifting involved. Dont really want a repeat of the pain involved with this problem again as im sure you are only too aware at this moment. Hope this helps.
  7. im growing that beard as we speak.....gonna go for the full Bon Jovi
  8. Poor old hamster!.......sort of like Reservoir Dogs but with Minoxidil.
  9. Looks great......the numbness and itching will go after time....as we age the body tends to take its time with healing...not like it was when we were 18
  10. All the best with your restoration plans...Dr Rahal is one of the best.
  11. I think the whole mechanism of Hair loss is not fully understood at any age whether young or old. I say give it a go. The only proven medication at any level of loss or age is either Finasteride or Minoxidil.
  12. yeh..only minimal difference here. if your doc really cares about the quality of his work, and happiness of his patients, he should rectify this free of charge.
  13. Yeh Kat......i would never guess you had anything there except for a whole lot of hair.
  14. All the best man......i can imagine its like that kind of excitement you get just before Christmas when ur a kid ...but every day! Uv got a lot to look forward to.
  15. Any guys out there that are 10 ..15 years plus wanna add comment here?
  16. Trouble is people think of the NOW in many scenarios in life and tend not to worry too much about the AFTER. A lot of these transformations have been driven by the misery and loss of confidence that hair loss can bring a person......i repeat as i said before you pays your money and takes your chance.
  17. Yeh good example of subtle improvement in Sting. He keeps himself in good shape too.....it all helps.
  18. Its all good advice.......where there is a will there is a way!
  19. Theres plenty of guys on here who cant even get of the starting block with these meds. If they are currently working for u or starting to loose effectiveness then count yourself lucky. As for the donor supply.....i guess thats why anyone considering a HT should wait until it is absolutely necessary......easier said than done i know. (What happened to the original post bllorayne?)
  20. Hes got a point you know.....having said that todays techniques were not available 20-30 years ago...PLUGGINESS was the norm back then. Hair loss through the ages has proved to be a hard nut to crack ...but now if you go down the road of a HT then u potentially will get a far more cosmetically appealing look then baldness. I guess it will boil down to the individual how HAPPY they are with the result now and in the future. You pays yer money and takes yer chance. Only time will tell.
  21. Good on ya Bill.....spreading the word that a person does not have to just grin and bare their Hair loss can only do good for the individual and also public perception.
  22. Get your self on Propecia and Regaine ...also go see your GP in case the loss is due to any underlining medical reason.
  23. You are wise to be cautious my friend. Have you tried Propecia ,Rogaine and Nizoral before? Try the find function on this forum for the above and see what fellow members have to say on these.
  24. You would be far better of using Finasteride,Minoxidil and Nizoral shampoo. This isnt to say that you should not give Provillus and Procerin a shot just dont expect any results of any kind.
