  1. HI emanruse, I'm not concerned as to your identity, the advice is the same. There is no clinic in Ireland that will give you a first class HT. research some more before making any decisions. As has been pointed out in the posts so far you are far too young to even be thinking of a HT and if someonr tells you they will give you a ht it should be a red flag to stay away from them. post some pictures and get some good advice from the members here. PM me if i can help in any way. regards IH
  2. good lad, glad it went well for you. you will lose the grafts but the new hairs will make a welcome return in about 3 months. Grow well a chara IH
  3. Don't take it down yet. Penis enlargement you say, maybe that works IH
  4. Shock loss is perfectly normal post HT. It will grow back unless the hairs were very weak and close to being lost anyway. You can try taking MSM about 3000mg per day as it does speed up hair growth. Relax for now nothing unique is happening to you. IH
  5. Thanks for asking Chucky, here is the link to my 11 month pics posted by Bill. I must post some new pics this week. http://hair-restoration-info.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/256...791025943#5791025943
  6. Hi, I have been around here for a while now and have been to the states twice for HT. DO NOT get a HT in Ireland, the only one worth concidering is Collins and he charges 10 euro per graft ( about 14 US Dollers ). If you mave the money go to one of the recommended Doc's in the U.S. if you don't have the funds at the moment then WAIT. I met with Dr Kiely and he is not on a par with the best by a long way, Research and make a good decision. good luck IH
  7. Jwaves, It's the one By DS Laboratories. IH
  8. Hairbank, congrats to a true gettleman with a heart of gold, well done my friend IH
  9. I'M not the most computer literate bloke around but if you are using a wireless modem and you turn it off and back on again do you not get a different IP ? IH
  10. nice one new poster, get one honest comment and have a go at the poster, don't plan on gettin a lot of help and support here. IH
  11. As with any body tissue, it is not possible to transplant from one person to another without taking anti- rejection drugs for the rest of your life, acceptable for a heart, lung or liver but not for hair, no matter how much we want it. IH
  12. thanks for the comments lads. Hairbank many thanks for your two years of support on this forum, you are a gentleman. NN as always you are correct. I do have wirey hair which i think helps with the illusion of coverage. I do wear my hair fairly short and had only gotten a trim on the day of the pictures. Bill i will post top down photos over the weekend. I have some hair greed now and will hopefully see Dr F in london in the new year to see what he thinks should be done with the crown. IH
  13. got me thinking about the 80's so here's a link to " flock of seagulls " has then and now pics that are interesting IH http://www.oz.net/~davester/AFOS/Band/band.html
  14. Congrats Spex, hope all is well with mother and children. well done to both of you. IH
  15. Bill. As i have had transplants with both Dr E and DrF i feel i am in a good position to post on this trend. I see no problem with Spex posting these pictures as he did, ok he works for Dr Feller but he has never pushed this Doc on anyone, he simply gives great advice and help to everyone who needs it. Pictures speak volumes when concidering choosing a Doc. If Spex posted pictures of poor quality work from Dr Feller ( if such a thing exists ) then the work would be talked to death here and he would be thanked by all and their mother for the post, the fact that he provided excelent photos of great HT's should also be a cause for thanking Spex. I along with hundreds of others owe the man more then a few drinks for his unbiased help. If these pictures break the rules or are unfair in any way then why not remove them? IH
  16. $10,000 if about E7,400. Still a huge difference even if you factor in the travel costs. IH
  17. Thats a diffucult one to answer, it depends on a number of things, hair type ( straight, curly) hair shaft thickness, hair angle, scalp contrast. 80 per cm would be near full density, 50-60 at the hairline reducing in density towards the crown would look good on most people. IH
  18. shedding at 6 weeks or so seems perfectly normal from the propecia, takes a while to kick in and do it's stuff. A year on the stuff will show if it works for you. IH
  19. sorry to hear about your foot and the training, your story is like a mini soap opera we have all been following your story for an age now. I hope you get the career and the hair you want to give us a happy end to the story, best of luck. IH
  20. Yeah, both is the short answer. Your transplanted hair will keep sprouting and will increase in thickness. It will also get softer and will become more like your existing hair. All this will happen untill around the 12-14 month so sit back and enjoy the improvements to come. IH
  21. Hey Middleson, IH here ( class of Jan07 ) Good to hear you'er growing well and happy with your progress. you finding it hard to walk past a mirror now? IH
  22. I have been using it for about 3 months now. I don't expect it to regrow hair and use it as part of my regime, it does seem to do a good job cleaning and i really like the way it makes my hair look and feel after use, I will keep using it just in case it is working. IH
  23. After 3 weeks post op there is almost no chance of loosing a graft. There would be a fair bit of bleeding from a lost graft and at this stage you would have to dig a graft out of your scalp to remove it. Mind your head anyway IH
